beautyful children... so much alive... not like our side of the world where you are a pedo if you even talk to a child. or say hello to your neighbours children.
I am Cambodian and when I went to Angkor Wat, I came across kids who sold bugs as snacks and they really push it in your face. I didn't buy any but gave them some dollar bills. But once I did, there would be 20 more kids running after you. This video brings back memories.
Yeah it's a terrible cycle of poverty. Their families need food on the table, so they take the kids out of school to sell stuff. They are just doing what it takes to survive.
LOL! Those are some hardcore little salesmen. Too cute. I got "mobbed" in the philippines too and ended up buying all this crap I didn't need, heh. Speaking of kids though, never been to cambodia but I know over there the families in the poorest villages were huuuuuge, like minimum five kids per couple! O_O
@halfthrottle Hello Ryan!Great vids you got here, love 'em all!how good is your klr?Becouse I have a ktm 525 and I'm searching for something bigger for riding!HAve you had any probs with it?Oh,yeah it's like zombie infection.Sorry for my bad english,I'm from lithuania
Being that i have been to Cambodia I totally understand, If you buy something they will all mob you. It bring a smile to my face because of all the memories that it brings back thanks for posting it, it made my day. I may have run away from a group of kids or two but thats open for interperation :-D
I came home from Cambodia with blankets, scarves, bracelets and many other assorted nic nacs. All of them bought from children. Helping them out was one of the highlights of my trip.
That's not even cool dude. You should have left the kid alone. And you say you represent Utah National Guard??? I would've smack the crap out of you cracker jack.
I do not represent the National Guard. I happen to be in the National Guard, and like to post video's. But in no way am I an official spokesperson for the Army.

dabee04 2 years ago
The super sad part is that since they aren't going to school they will likely grow up to sell themselves.
Yes I am from Utah.

An eye opener, but you should see "burma's secret war" too, there are other eye openers.
It's good to see these kids trying to do some and being allowed to do so, think of those that aren't free to do anything.

well at least they don't have cell phones and computers with video games that keep them indoors all day.
CreativeCritisizm 3 years ago
yeah..
Well maybe not so desperate at times when there is fun to be had :) Making little memories for them and Halfthrottle, too.
