damn...so much epicness taking place...and fools gotta talk like they are at work chattin' it up 'round the ol' water cooler. this band ROCKS i just found out about'em from this john rattray day in the life thing on fuel tv.
It's more or less weather or not people have respect for the band. I probably never will comprehend why someone would pay $20 a ticket, so they can talk for three hours. As far as I'm aware, I can talk for free. ;)
It just shows the difference between American audiences, & say, a Japanese audience. Many Americans have very little respect for themselves, let alone others, so they feel it necessary to discuss the events at their Starbucks job the day previous, over enjoying the music.
i have their split with red sparowes and the grails side blows RS out of the water. it sucks that so many people are talking! it was just like this when i saw explosions in the sky. it ruined it!
Yeah, at Explosions in the Sky and during A Silver Mt. Zion, there were just so many damn people talking, mostly drunks who intentionally wanted to ruin it.
I don't think that this is really post-rock, it's not as slow, mellow and... well, UNROCK as Sigur Ross, GY!BE or Mogway. It's very Pink Floysh. I think that it's Psychodelic/Progressive rock, but defenitely not Postrock.
But wathever, post-rock it's a made up term by music critics and bussiness man, so fuck it. This band it's awesome. That's all I need to know.
see this is what i hate about post-rock. You have amazing bands, then a crowd of morons who talk non-stop. They're not there for the music. It shits me off the wall. YEARRRG
this band deserves much much more attention.. right up there with the best.. its like hearing a modern floyd but even more trippy and much darker. cheers.
This track live should be something really divine.
Grails rules!

why are so many people talking ? Maybe this is just an impression. In the post-rock shows I have been, people were not talking like that.

I saw this band for the first time in the basement of Club 6 in SF. Fell in love. I think their music is absolutely beautiful.

It's the finest album released this year, by some fucking way. Grails and Ghost on tour together, I'd cut my lips off for that.

you have exceptional taste, my friend.
but ghost have reportedly said something about not playing in the usa as long as bush is president.

Thanks. The only Grails album I own is Red Light, and I knew it wasn't one of those.
