I know most people mix up their armies with different nationalities but I like to stick with a certain kingdom. If that kingdom doesn't have archers or doesn't have calvary,then I'll hire mercenaries to fill in those spots.

Dude how is this castle so hard in my mount and blade i can take over any castle i took this one when i was level 8 with 30 units lol not use cheats etheir just got best weapon and armor :P

man i hate this castle, i reduced the numbers from 200 down the 30 in my assault but it failed, then along comes douche count grainwad and takes it while it's weak, i did all the work and that prick wins it lol :(

pretty good gameplay :D i love this game...but can anybody tell me what i do wrong if my heroes always get knocked out damn quick in battle? i like them for their abilities,but in battle they dont seem very useful :(

Lots of renown, this game is nearly 1000 days in... The only cheats I use are for video purposes only (point and click to go where I want) other than that my character is very much earned.

@MASTERSCAPE1 lol, it doesnt depend on level, only little bit, use a good sword, aim for their heads and hope they havent got good armor, same with bows, grab a good bow and good arrows, aim for the head or other weak spots in their armor and shoot!

can you tell me what stats you usually add to benefit the most on the battlefield?

I take a mixed approach. I have strength at 18, dex is 29 (going for 30), int is up to 15 (3 from books) and charisma is at 24. Cha you need for a large empire, 8+1 leadership from a book.

Strength is great for melee hits, but I'd rather move fast while on horse and the ground. While on horse you don't need str., and if you can outrun anyone on foot and swing faster you are more likely to be unharmed.

If you go pure archer str. should be tops. Also I doubt the AI uses dex properly.
