  • Like this if you just watched this MV or leave a comment here, so I know you just watched this and I miss the 'love 90s' comments.

  • I agree about the before 2000 era, cuz these days mainstream music for like 80% is unoriginal crap. I also have a question. In the end of friends episode 805 this song was played, and it sounded quite different (I liked that melody better, than this one :D). Is it from a different version or smth? thanks in advance.

  • no cellphone, no psp...but there's mtv...miss those days in the 90s

  • This song is my time machine...I'm there, 1997 with a Hugh Grant haircut.

No money, no car but I still had a blast.

  • I had my first kiss to this song :D

  • Lot's of memories..... drunk jammin sesions !!!!

  • it's beatiful i love

  • one of the songs that led me to rock and roll

  • 237 people apparently grew up in a cave.

  • I grew up as a 90s kids with 90s music rock, euro dance, and songs had a cool unique rhythm which I'll remember for rest of my life. No extensive cell phones, no quad core computers, no Xbox, PSPs, fun playing outdoors in grass and trees listening to radio - yet life was so much fun better than 2000s. Thumbs up if you grew up in 90s and consider yourself very lucky.

  • @virgoptrex yea..you are 100% right...i grew up as a teen in the 90s...how i enjoyed my life without modern gadgets...just nature, music n friends...:)

  • i swear, this generation is dissapointing, none of the music is good, the kids have bad role models, the us is f'ing itself up and on top of all that, when i was growing up, i was promised flying cars, hover boards, and all that good stuff, and what did they end up making that was worth while? not much comes to mind that we didnt have back in the 90's... may the 90's live on forever... and remember WYSIWYG!!

  • Music is not the only thing I miss about the 90's but also the pop culture.

    Because there was NO!!!

    1.Twitter/Facebook/Myspace

    2.American Idol

    3.Kardashians

    4.Twilight Movies

5.Reality Shows(except for the Real World & Road Rules)

  • Timeless song.

  • love this

  • @MeEstasOyendoInutil You can still do that.

  • The perfect graduating song

  • 90's are the best!

  • That song throws me back to 1997.98 when I was in high school...excellent year!

  • awesome song from an awesome decade.....90`s rock was the best

  • man music before was alot better, than now.

good old days, good old memories

  • The 90's last decade of great music. "Good times make great memories"

  • @blackstorm5000 Totally agree for America at least, i'm a brit who today loves Indie Music and think british indie music is getting nothing but amazing but the generic chart music is getting so much worse including in America. In the uk the 90's was mostly pop from the 80's but worse (Mostly). Today we have some amazing indie artists but anything from the chart. Anyway Love this song!

  • This is such a great song!

  • i fucking.. i mean i fucking love this fucking song ...!!!!!

  • born in 87 song helps me out at times

  • who doesn't know this song hahaha! 90's kids ftw!

  • man the 90s. where the music wasnt about stealin, hoes, sex, bootie, drugs and cars. You could turn on mtv and actually see a music video. Everything was more simpler back then people werent trying to copy each other either. Im just glad that i got to live through the 90s its sad knowing that these kids today have justin bieber to call music if you can call that music

  • @keanufan09 amen

  • @keanufan09 the new movement is electronic music, live it, join it, breath it, embrace it!

  • @keanufan09 i agree. justin beiber needs to fall off a clif and die lol. but yeah music in the 90's still had meaning. i was 12 when the 90's ended. it wasn't just music that went down the poop shoot once the 2000s hit it was people as well. i remember people back in the day seemed freindlier and more down to earth in general

  • @keanufan09 Music has always been about sex it just they had better innuendo

  • loved the 90s! used to just goof around all day like this one time my cousin and i rode our bikes to the lake just to see if we could ride them under water. nope

  • does it get any better than this?

  • This song is awesomee.

  • i was only born in 1992 but man i remember so much

  • @carrotman92 hey... you had atleast 2 years to enjoy the decade haha

  • is this the real music video cus the video is not what the song is suppose to be about?

  • @Jash71234 yes it is because itunes has it

  • @Jash71234 yea its the real video and the song is actually about having a baby so yea the video has nothing to do with the song

  • man i miss the 90s.

  • man This song and other songs from my childhood make me cry and I'm tired of people saying Next year will be better no it won't are good times are behind us I'm sorry to say that but it's true I'm thankful that I did not spend my childhood inside all day long like theese kids today parents need to step up before it's too late and make them play outside and I think 7 year olds should not have cell phones like my cousin RIP 90'S great times I'm sorry if I affended anyone

  • @steelersfan288 I agree completely

  • amen

  • BEST SONG! and your description just made me so nostalgic. i miss ridding my bike around the neighborhood jamming out to semisonic, sugar ray, third eye bling, goo goo dolls, bsb, and matchbox 20. i had better music taste than i realized back then. 1991 represent!

  • Oh God, I used to love this.

good times . . . back when MTV wasn't full of preachy political diatribes and teen pregnancy shit

  • ..... how did they make this vid?!?!?!?!

  • the turn of the Millennium government got a huge bosst and civil rights took a beating. everything rolls down hill starts with them and spreads out!!!!

  • @keyespe1 That's what we get for voting Republican.

  • Now we lock ourselves up in our houses, and our version of communication is by getting on the internet and watching videos on youtube. well this video makes me think about how simple, and happy the world was, and I'm not going to let that thought fade away by sitting inside all damn day. I'm going outside, and I'm going on a walk, because I feel like it. and not or any other reason

  • @TopherTV Like no one would have called Obama a socialist in the 90s! We just listen to whatever the tv tells us nowadays, we sit at home watching CNN and Fox and get paranoid about sht that's not that bad.

  • being born in 93, the only thing I remember about the 90's was that there was more happiness. at the beginning of the new century, technology got such a push that people seemingly faded away. sure, we all still try to be happy, and we all still find a reason to smile... but when was the last time we all stepped out our front door, just to be outside? when I was a kid, I would see people walking by, and even comonly, you could see your neighbors.

  • @TopherTV really liked what you wrote, i feel the same and i was also born in 93. 90s seriously represent such happiness for me... even if i only remember briefly.

  • @XAntiViolenttX same here born in 93' where everything just had a certain glow to it that made everything more enjoyable, know what i mean?

  • @TopherTV There was. I was born in 88 and don't remember all of the 90s, but 9/11 made everyone depressed. Before 9/11 I was high as a kite and not because I was a kid. The economy was good, we had a surplus, foreign issues were pretty decent at the time, technology seemed so far ahead of its time. Everyone had great hopes for the future New Years Eve 2000. To see it as backward and regressive as it is now, is just depressing.

  • FINALLY i found this song!!!! :D

  • y did the 90s have to have a closing time?

  • this song brings me back to a better time. cheers

  • such a good tune.. me and my buddy used to throw parties every weekend and this song always came on last as everyone was leaving

  • @jkoosk same here

  • I miss this music.. I remember I was a little kid staring out the window when good music was playing...

    What happened to our music?

  • Hell Yes, the fuckin good old 90s..

    i was born in 1990 :D

It was fantastic to grow up in the 90s..

And now? The 90s are only memories..

    Fuckin good old memories..

  • @carfaszination Only thing better was growing up in the 80's. Trust me, the 80's rocked!

  • Ah... The song that would be ALWAYS playing the second I woke on the radio. Gotta love those hangover days being cured by such a fucking nostalgic song.

  • the fucking memories my god...

  • @nnnnnsssssssssllllln- Hell ya, this is huge nostalgia for me too. I was 13 when this came out

  • Very good song... Theres nothing like 90's Alternative.

  • @BrodEirennach90- Ya alternative was the best in the 90's, peaked 1998 for sure

  • damn i've been looking for this song for years!

  • @goodbye me to. I FOUND IT. it's like TREASURE. haha

  • @goodbye id forgotten it til i heard it on the simpsons the other day! thankyou homer!

  • fuckin cool description!!!

  • <3.

  • I born in 1994 ... So bad :( I wish i were born before ... I hate rap or RnB music and all these music ...

  • @Steven36000 sorry for my english ;)

  • I look like this guy.

  • miss the bands of the 90's..

  • semisonic is from the 90's heheh i miss a lot then !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i wish i was a teen during the 90's but yet i was less than 3ft tall

  • I wish I was my age 15 years ago...

  • @thatguywithnoname then you would be complaining about how the music died w/warrant and poison. Muisc constantly evolves, it is us that get stagnant.

  • @konijntjesbroek Music hasn't died, but the 90s is definitely my favorite music era...

  • @konijntjesbroek pop culture really reflects the mood of the people. Right now people are docile and apathetic, they just want to hear music about drinking and fucking. When they finally grieve (like they did in the early 90s with grunge) we will see another musical explosion.

  • @Sshelly34213 don't know that they are more apathetic than we were in the early nineties. I am pretty sure that for a few generations to come gen-x will equate w/ apathy. The difference I see currently is that the kids today are more hopeful than we were. They believe in the systems in place or their ability to change them.

  • @konijntjesbroek I agree, I think people are simply in a phase of apathy due to 9/11. Which of course leads to pop cultural apathy and in my opinion this is a completely different thing. I know from talking to my friends that my generation really does want to use the system to try and make the world better. I certainly do.

We have so much that needs to be done, to ignore it is imminent destruction.

  • simpler times...

  • To skip the ad, press F5!

  • The music died about 2001. It's over for now, folks. When will music come back?

  • Us children of the seventies, eighties, and nineties are all loving this. Hell, I was born in 1973, but this is the music that dominated my post college years when I before I became a responsible result. What great times that have been lost.

  • such a good video

  • Fuckin' good times, man. Fuckin' a.

  • @dembirdscanfly ~~~~lose the language please, but i do agree w/ you dude!!!!!~~~~

  • @Flight29DownGirl15 fuckin' A.

  • beautiful song

  • my homies dad had a garage band they ripped this jam up

    good times

mannn its remind of the 90s as a odd, mixed up world of music and fun

    ! closing time!!!

  • i found this because of the simpsons episode

  • @slimshady94 "The 90's show"...Yeah,me too...

  • I'm so glad I got to live through the 90s. It was the best time for movies shows music etc its so sad that its just a memory now =(

    forever and ever

  • god i used to be so care free

  • i love it

  • Amazing song. <3

  • This song pretty much sums up the 90's. Closing time for a great decade, and the beginning of a new millennium. The 90's were easily the best decade

  • amazing song

  • Awww, this was my graduation song! Hooray for all us children of the 90s!!! <3

  • @DrRock2016 Oh My Gosh!!!! The fashion of that time... the beginings of gloss for lips. I remember how every girl of my school had that invisible gloss... those times I miss them so much.

  • Oh My Gosh!!!! The fashion of that time... the beginings of gloss for lips. I remember how every girl of my school had that invisible gloss... those times I miss them so much.

  • uit sucks i am geny but my best memeriors are with gen x i identify myself as gen x

  • great sound on this video....

  • hi! i will never miss the 90's!

  • perfect bar song still songs good to me after all these years.

  • I miss the 90's so much I'm crying as I type this I don't look forward to new years eve because each year just keeps getting more worse I don't stay up for the ball drop anymore because it drags us more away from the 90's let me ask you guys this what good has come out of this new decade nothing you have the oil spill TV is filled with more crap and if you ask me MTV should change it's name to RTV I miss the times when kids were kids and people got along great and played outside all day long

  • @steelersfan288 I agree with you 100% Times were so much better than, better t.v, better movies and MTV actually showed music videos. Now all they show is crap television, I don't know why they still have a video awards show, they don't show any video's except for an hour in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping. I can't remember the last time I watched cra... I mean Music televison and VH1 is the same no video's anymore just dating shows and celebrity rehab! SHM!

  • i think we all see this simpsons episode xDD good song!

  • Just Watched The Simpsons Episode 'That 90's Show' And I Loved This Song :D

Looked It Up On The Internet And Here I Am :]

    Sadgasm Rocks !!! xD

  • funny is that teenagers today don't see it like you all. the 90s were better........................for you. the teenager today like to be like they want to be. and not all of them play indoor all time. think of this...

  • @Traikuza NO.

The 00s sucked for teens, I was a teen trust me, it sucked balls. There was never anything to listen to on the charts, really awful hip hop and RnB that has soiled the genre forever. The tv has been utter garbage, they literally play reruns of 5 sitcoms all day on some channels. If you have basic cable..you're fucked. You might as well get rid of the tv. Even on digital there is nothing to watch. Everyone is on the net now and it sucks, people argue like mother fuckers.

  • funny is that teenagers today don't see it like you all. the 90s were better........................for you. the teenager today like to be like they want to be. and not all of them play indoor all time. think of this...

  • @Traikuza I know you want to be open minded, but it sucked balls for me.

The only decent thing was the fashion.

  • just saw the simpsons episode about the 90ies when marge went to college...love this song!

  • @foreverakid1 me too ;-)))))))

  • @foreverakid1 jap, me too! ^^

  • awesome description!!! im proud to have been a part of the 90s :)

  • 90s rock, great music back then, not like the crap that sounds nowadays

  • im not sure if its my computer or if its the vid, but it lags really bad

  • @jakerazz

I'm having no problems. It's probably you.

  • @MeEstasOyendoInutil i think the best thing that you can do with that feeling of wanting to relive 2001 to its fullest is to turn it toward today and this very moment and make 2010 a new memory that you can look back fondly upon as well. i understand that feeling though, however, i think that comes from thinking that we had more possibilities at a time in the past than we do now, and i simply don't think that is true in many cases.

  • The bar I frequented when I was at the cusp of twenty played this once when they were closing. It was perfect!!

  • can someone plz explain me what happened tot his band? why aren't they making any more music?

  • Sometimes I miss the 1990's, but just the music part only :D

Technology is a lot better now, but now teenagers can't be without their cellphones and need to update their Myspace account every 5 minutes.

  • goddamn people are ALWAYS nostalgic for anything ten years ago

  • @alexandradeyl haha sooo true

  • if u like "closing time" check out my song "unlucky girl"

  • Dear lord.

    why complain so much...

    The future brings change,

If things didn't change we wouldn't have gotten to the technology we had in the 90's and today...

Stop complaining and get on and enjoy your life.

  • You guys need to sort it out, fuck the 21st century??? Never heard such an absurd in my life. Are you Dr Who or something??. The world will KEEP changing, make no mistake about that. Thats because things EVOLVE. Not just people but culture, technology and attitude. Dawkins described evolution as positive change and he had a point. Its not like we are degenerating or anything, things are changing just the way they were in the 90s and will continue to do so as that is the way of the world

  • wish i could go back this 21st century digital age is horrible the kids are turning into digital zombies hip hop is taking over and the worlds gone to hell

  • @joethehunter It's only been ten years! Give it some time!

Next time, think who you vote for, don't vote for idiots like Bush. The only reason this decade sucked so much is because Bush spent our money on bullsht, made the general public paranoid and depressive with his inability to speak coherently. Whatever happened to rebuilding over the twin tower site?? I bet Gore would have been all over that sht.

  • how did trinity get in the video?

  • i sure miss the 90s when smoking ciggarettes were actualy cool and no damn cell phones or at least not at reach of a mid class punk teen or high speed internet downloads i actualy waited 6 hrs to download this track back in the day

Power to the days of rebook pumps and a world that acutualy gave a damn about aids rsrs

  • best song ever modern time songs suck

  • The 90s: A time when The Simpsons was actually funny.

  • @grungefreak10 Yeah I agree I used to love The Simpsons back in the 90's now that shit needs to go off the air.

  • my favorite SONG :D <3 <3

  • Is that Trinity from the Matrix!?!?! hahahahahaha

  • Gracias a canciones como esta se puede decir que los 90´s no fueron un desastre musical en lo que a rock respecta.

  • j'allai mettre sur pause la video pour demander le nom de la chansson mais ca m'a mis à ce lien alors cool ^^

  • amazing time.

  • Man, I was born in 1985, and Im proud to say I grew up in the greatest era of music since the 60's. I only wish I wouldnt have taken it for granted so much. Who wouldve thought that music would turn into such corporate garbage. The late 90s were such a great time to be a teenager... talking with your friends about girls, and listening to great rock music... I feel bad for kids these days.

  • @wink2873 I agree with you, I thought that time was the most amazing part of my life. What sucks now these days, is that most popular music is R&B and Rap don't get me wrong it's okay, but I don't know its something about rock that brings me back to 'like driving a truck down a pizza parlor and listening to a rock song. and drinking a coke with your buddies and your girl.' at least that is how I saw it.

  • @Thereisalwaysmore The problem is that it's the ONLY music popular, nothing else is on the radio. God it's so annoying, rock is my favorite genre and I literally have not heard a decent rock song...since Closing Time!

RnB has become too mainstream and has thus been soiled forever. I miss black pride bands like Arrested Development, I hate this new crunk sht that glorifies material possessions. It just feels so shallow and unsatisfying. Where is my great musical movement?

  • @wink2873 'Corporate garbage'... That is so 100% true... i believe you have made the best comment in youtube 3VER. Respect.

  • @wink2873 I was born in 88 and witnessed that. I waited for my own great musical movement..I'm still waiting. This decade has been absolute shit for music. I'm really insulted by this crap. Ke$ha?? Can you imagine if she came out with her cd 10 years ago? She would have been laughed at, her cd wouldn't even have been able to sell at target. Now she's a no. 1 hit. God, it irritates the hell out of me. We need to get off our asses and take some action.

  • Ah the 90's I was born in 89 so I was a kid in the 90s and I remember every second of it. The music was great.

  • Songs cool.

  • god this century sucks some people its all knife crime and hell

  • Born in 1980, all my teen years were in the 90's...amazing decade for music, film, life.

  • The 90's were halcyon days for sure. Now everything seems much more complicated and serious.

Oh how I yearn for the days of yesteryear.

  • Not sure if I miss Semisonic, but definitely miss the 90s!

  • @xso61673 I miss the 90's myself, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Oasis, Reverend Horton Heat, Amazing "Royal" Crowns, Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim), Chemical Brothers. I don't miss garbage where people sing like they gotta take a dump &/or have clothes pins on their noses. Is this song like that? Well... I guess at least they're not Nickleback or .38 Special, that's the only positive thing I have to say about this song.

  • @musicphan1 What no Soundgarden?

  • @xso61673 im with ya i miss the 90s to man rember driving to cincy to spend the week with a chic like a 6 hr drive herd this song like 10 times on that drive its self lol

  • MISS THE 90's

  • This song summons emotions, oh nos i think i might cry. I is sad, uberness to the max.

  • This song reminds me of when when me and my cousin would leave a party.... We would always play this in his car on the way home! GOOD TIMES!

  • good times growing up. life seems so shitty now

  • So sweet.. the 90's the era of great alternative music. I soo miss it..

  • stuff is still very simple these days, you just need context and don't believe everything you read. I do agree though with the 90's being a wicked musical decade. ;)

  • It's funny how we don't always appreciate a song to the fullest at the time it's popular but later when it brings back good memories we remember.

  • I wish I was born a little earlier..:(

  • damn, im going to cry! nostalgia, sweet nostalgia....

  • damn only if i could go back to when this song came out i'd be a teenager agian!

  • Every generation and every decade idealizes the past. Think of the the 50's wanting a simpler time away from war or the 70's wanting a simpler time away from the riots and violence from the 60's.

Unfortunately time always moves on, and will do so until the end

  • Goddamnit this song still gets me. Here's to my youth and continuing to live it, even in this crazy world we live in.

  • I dunno what 90s you lived in, but the one I lived in the net still owned my soul. Free downloads and Diablo 2 coupled with 3D Doritos and Surge.

  • pff, i didn't even really grow up in the 90's and i miss it!
