one thing i will say is that power metal stomps on any type of eighties hair bands. vocals, guitar, drums, basically in every aspect. power has a lot more feeling in it. i mean dont get me wrong the 80,s started a lot of what is around today, but in a way this stuff is far more superior musically in every aspect then of the eighties.

Such a darn shame Outworld split up - I thoroughly enjoyed that album and was really eager for more. The blend of power grooves and progressive technicallity really "did it" for me.

I also liked the fact that the rhythm tones weren't the atypically heavy tones that a lot of people associate with the 7 String - allowed the music to breath a little more than other current 7-string artists.
