I knew two twins who literally were inseparable and on December 21, 2008 the other brother was in an accident involving a drunk driver. He was throne from the seat through the window and died in his best friend lap... his brother said that he knew that his brother was in trouble and that he had some sort of horrible feeling... shortly after he found out that he died. I listen to this song and cry because I cant imagine what it would be like to loose someone who is literally part of you. RIP MARK
@FolkMetalPiper Amazing story. My brother died a day later than your friend - December 22, 2008. He was too young, a great brother, and a fan of the ultimate rock band, BOC. May he, and your friend, Rest in Peace.
I kind of hope that I would have a chance to talk to my dad. He passed away a year ago, and I would like to show him this song. I'm sure that he would love it.
When I feel depressed I listen to this song, and know that I'm going to keep living for my dad.
Having BOCs songs from all of their albums up here has given me a chance to catch up on what I didn't hear in many years. All of their albums have merit. These guys are musicians and creative artists. They deserve our open minds, witnessing the evolution of their sound and character. They gave us great rock and metal in the early years, pop rock in the intermediate term and then a very mature, lyrical sound in the later years. How does anyone not like these guys?
I can see what you are meaning....Listening to this song during the time my only brother were in ICU for almost a month. The doctors told us he would´t make it, but we never gave up! LIVE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding me people? This song is even better having only these 3000 views. Because, this song is like a hidden treasure. Not everyone deserves to have it, and listen to it.
I'm just discovering this awesome band, from the first 10 seconds I already knew this is going to be a great song. Their guitar tones are amazing. The band just gets better and better.
Perhaps this song is about all of us BOC fans, who have had really shitty times and perhaps want to take the easy way out, maybe its his way of saying, stay alive.
For people who say that the new BOC isn't the same, I say listen to this song. If I didn't know better, I'd say it WAS one of their early songs. Which proves that they still rock as hard as they ever did.
I know it's not exactly new. What I mean is the way people compare the first albums to the more recent albums. I've read a lot of comments about the first three albums being the best and that BOC was never as good as that again and it really bugs me. Because I think they're still as good as they ever were.
this song reminds me of a old fried of mine who died is pretty much the way the song describes...and he had a twin brother...and i still get the shivers listening to this song when i think about the lyrics..so sad - but a damn good song
This whole album is great.Too bad radio didn't see it that way.

Scary album jacket. Beautiful guitar sound inside.

One of BOC's harder sessions. Really hard, especially on the sound
board and in the final mixing..

Absolutely amazing but very sad song. The guitar, Buck's vocals, just perfect. I love this track.

@cuttlefisch It is simply inexplicable. Only 2,386 views for one of the greatest tunes ever. This song is elevated in every respect.

Aynone else reminded of a Splicer from Bioshock from the cover?
Great album anyway.

Extraordinary song. So way ahead of and beyond all the stodgy fodder that "classic rock" DJs too often feed their listeners...

An all-time BOC song. The tone of the guitar refrain has a singing quality to it that I find compelling.
