People gotta forget Lulu! Ok, it was a bad idea. Best intentions aside, done for personal eccentricities perhaps but final product- not good. I hoped for the best, have varied musical tastes- love the early VU records, so have respect for Reed but it just didn't have what it takes to make a good record. Too much of a musical divide that ended up sounding awkward and self conscious. We have to remember, it wasn't a full on Met project, and time to move on.
