MMAD is easily one of the worst example of incompetence I have ever seen. I worked in and around the federal government for 30 years and have seen lot of pinheads, but this is head and shoulders above the rest. When you call the hotline they say you'll get a callback in 3 to five days. That only happened ONCE in the four years on the program, and only because they sent me someone else's shipment and they wanted it back.

Every Drug must have a DIN# to be legally "Prescribed"!

When MM gets a DIN# then doctors will know that the SICK will use Clean Legal Health Canada Licensed Medications, not the local Street Dope that can be Tainted, Dusted or just grown all wrong and can make the sick sicker with pesticides and fertilizers?

I pined mine on her hospital gown in a ceremony of tears, in the Rubber Wing, for being locked up and drugged for helping me!!

This DIN thing is key for many of us who understand that it just a stroke of a pen to get it done and all the benefits it would allow us, including simple equality with meds that are covered under insurance. Each time I say this I am aware that an answer according to HC might just be to end DPPL and DG programs and force us to buy from one source: HC. That is not what I want to see happen. You are right, most of us are disabled and do not earn enough to claim tax benefits.

@musicloverkathy The coolest thing that a DIN# would do, is Open up the Market for Legally HC licensed producers, to be contracted by Pharmacies providing they can meet the Quality and Testing to supply a clean reliable product to be sold!

Example would be Rick Simpson, as he could produce his Phoenix tears and other Medical MJ products for Retail sales in a Drugstore or on-line Prescription sales!

Remember HC can only give ONE federal Contract at a time to supply HC MJ to Canadians!!

Plus HC could continue to license Designated Growers and Medical users themselves as is now available! No harm comes from a DIN# except to the bank accounts of Street Dealers that count on selling to the GREYPOT market! Now we have legal growers that may sell to the Grey and we have Street Dealers who do Rip-offs and some of them even use weapons to take legally licensed MJ by force and sell it on the Street! We have MJ Rip offs in BC all the time but most are inside jobs and know WHEN to do it!

I hate doing this stuff!! My family has all but dis-owned me, and I have found that MOST of the Medical MJ users do NOT want legal access with out Total Freedom of POT!

I did not always follow the rules, cause I was never told them and thought that Compassion Clubs were legal supliers. I supported my Clubs founder for for years, testifing in her trial for helping me! I was rulled a Delusional Charector, in her Grandious Delusion that Medical MJ helped anyone?

Then I was ruled by a BC court as a Street Druggie after a Doctor testified all MJ users were "STREET DRUGGIES"! After that my friend was Locked Up And Drugged by court order, and this delusional character was ordered removed from the Courthouse and even made a "Bail Restriction" so I could not see or visit my friend with out her getting JAILED?

I hate this crap and am done playing around!

The Government of Canada won't admit that Medical MJ is Efficacious, as a Medication, or it would get a DIN# so it can be "Prescribed" as a Drug or Medication? They do Grow / Sell and even Pay for it, if a Doctor "Recommends" it as a Medication for a Illness or Disability, and even call it Medical MJ

My sympathies for your situation. There is so much superstition and ignorance perpetuated about cannabis by the government, it seems ridiculous that anyone should have to be burdened by this process. A truly free country should lift this stupid prohibition, and allow anyone to grow as much as they need for their own personal use, medical, and recreational. It is the safest "drug".
