I know it's not easy bein a spouse of a military member, because I'm a Florida Army Guardsman myself, who's served in the Navy, n I have 3 deployments under my belt. The first 2 were for 6 months, n the last one was 7 months, attached to the then-USS Constellation. Next year, I'll be deploying for the 1st time, for a yr, w/ the Army. I've always enjoyed getting those letters from home, or the care packages filled w/love. Trust me...they DO HELP a LOT!!!

i listened to this song a lot when my husband was deployed and i remember all the tears that ran down my face i missed him a lot going to the airport and hugging and kissing him to tell him bye was the hardest thing in life i had to go through and it was really hard him not being home i missed him way too much

My soldier is on his 3rd tour to Iraq, I've gone almost a month now with no word from him..... but I know he's in God's hands and I'll pray for the day when he returns. Our son, Alec, cries himself to sleep every night that he doesn't hear from his Daddy.... it breaks my heart. But its Army, Unit, Family and in that order too.... you learn to live with it.
