i lused to live in southwest oklahoma, in caddo county, there is a place called cobb creek road just 2 miles south of the grandparents farm in the lower land, its a 2 mile mud trail that will take you to the mouth of ft cobb lake if you have a good enough truck. ill try to get some videos of it on here pretty soon, its an amazing trail!
My parent's have the SAME TRUCK, 'cept theirs is white, but has 2 doors, 4x4 and has the fin on the back. ;) My S10 is a bit bigger, lol. 1988 S10 tahoe, 3 1/4" lift all around with 33x12.50R15 Mud terrains, lol. We take our S10's off roading ALL the time and they keep running. :D And rarely get stuck. Mostly cause of the light-weight
Same here! I have the 4.3L 1988 S10, just lifted mine and runnin 31's for now. 3" suspension all around. They are great trucks. Just bought my mother a Blazer EXACTLY like yours, except it's a 1990. ;)
I just picked up '87 Blazer 4x4 Tahoe 2.8 (223k miles) still runs good but thinking of swapping it out for the 3.4 V6 found in Camaro's. I hear it bolts in like stock and needs Camaro Comp. in place of Blazer Comp. to be fully-functional. It is a fun ride in 4-low through the woods and streams here in N-E Tennessee. When get Cam fixed, will post some st00fs 4 all 2 C. Have fun n B safe. : )
Yeah, where I live, out in Illinois, there isn't much...But if ya check out my vids, I found a few things to do. But the closest legal place to off road is 75 miles from me, haha....It sucks. Very nice truck. Even the S10 Pickups (What I drive) Do real nice in the mud and snow. Never let me down yet.
I pick up my self an 86 s10blz 2.8 with 250000 miles on it 4x4... needs a vice grip to engage the front wheels... but t f!ing engin wont die well some day i'll put a 4.3 when the 2.8 kicks the bucket
I owned a 91 GMC Jimmy (The blazers gay cousin) and it had the 4.3L with 4x4 and that thing was a power house and I never used the 4x4 once. The only reason it died was because the dumbass who rebuilt the motor did it wrong and it blew to shit and back. I've owned a couple vehicles since and now I'm tradin a truck for a 88 blazer 4.3 4x4 and I'm hoping it is just as fun as my last!
so apparently the parents want me to move out this month and get my own place... so i'll have to wait on getting this blazer i guess.. until i get a place and depending on the owners of the place i might be able to keep it there... until i can find a house to rent..
man them s-10 blazers are tough in the mud i ran mine out of gas and it rolled into a muddy ditch even with no gas that thing was still wantin to go sounded like a durn v8 mud flyin everywhere lol mine is a 92 t-10 model s-10 blazers forever
what do you smoke? 100" wheel base, 230 ft lb of torque, instatrac 4X4, NP231 transfer case (the very same as is in the Jeep Wranglers.) and this video.
personally i dont like the s-10 blazers i had a 93 with the 4.3l for ab a year and got a 90 bronco after that and i have to say that after this bronco dies im gettin another cause my bronco does more than that blazer did, there nice lil trail rigs or huntin truck but not meant for anything deep
i respect your tastes, but you might have had the 4.3 with the multiport injction, and the entire injection system frequently goes out after 120,000 miles and cost more to fix than the truck was worth new.
how do you like your blazer? i have a broken s15 pickup that i can trade my uncle for an 80's s10 blazer, 4x4, 2 door 5 speed with the 2.8L.. so im seriously thinking about trading... i wont get the papers for a while at least (if i ever get them) so it'll be a bush truck..
just wanted to letcha know the s-10 blazers are awesome trucks i got one and smashed the hell out of the front end and it was still drivin even though the rad was hittin the fan id take a s-10 blazer over a ford anyday tough yet fun trucks
i got a 4.3 86' that i would run against that thing in some mud, fairly stock except has tires, stock rims, just new tires cause, well it should be obvious since it's an 86'. not really great offroading tires either.
nice ! i have a black LS 98 blazer s10. but after i had watched some videos for K5 blazer mudding here in youtube , i begane to hate my blazer ..lol. k5 Rocks!
I love the look of a muddy blazer
