I can say this about my Volunteer Department, in my town the center is small but the total area of our town is big so most of the time only the guys who live in the town center go to the station the rest of us respond straight to the fire because we have our bunker gear with us and we are farther away then the rest of the guys
@Emile19746 Well since those lights are Yellow and white they are perfectly legal for ANYONE (no matter who you are) to have them on your vehical - however you find it uncommon for a everyday person to have them. If he had red, green, or blue lights on his truck, he would most likely have to get a letter from the chief of the department
@ACEDUKE22 Where are you located if I may ask? 'Cause in most states white and yellow lights are legal. Construction workers, buidling inspectors, and many others use them and you dont need special permission
Awsome! I just put lights in my tool box also. The video is on here also. firefighter 97 ford F-250 emergency. I had to buy a special controller from whelen to make the l.e.d.s flash and strobe. The control has about 10 different patterns. I have changed the pattern since the video was made. I am going to post a video of the truck at night to get the full effect of all the lights. Hope you like mine. Please comment
Very nice mate, i have a new illuminated LED FIRE sign for sale that would look great with your other lights, visit my website at saferesponse.co.uk for more information, kind regards Simon

Hey man I have the ssame model F150. Where did u get those taillight and reverse light flashers at? Galls says they dont make that flasher unit for Fords. Can you help me out?
well when most states require a 360 degree of light it dosen't mean keeping them all inside. u must have a roof light to be legal in most states. just remember that

looks perfect ecept a few things, take the red ones off back of tool box n put at bottom in front n mount the ones inside the cab faceing backward were the red ones were, the ones thats red n amber and u'll be all set, or mount the pure red ones inside, one on each corner of dash, thats how i wanna do my setup when ever i become pov, n how much did all this cost if thats ok?
Yup, Delaware now allows wig-wags, and they allow the use of the car's four way hazard lights but that's it. No nothing unless you are a line officer or fire police. And the state fire police and fire chief's association have been fighting against the rest of us having lights because that would mean they are actually equal to us. but my thing to them is, we can run the trucks to an alarm without an elected fire officer... but they can't run the truck without the rest of us.
sweet, what state do you live that allows you to use lights? Here in Delaware, in March 2009 they passed a law allowing volunteers to use wig-wags.... but we can't use anything esle except our four ways.
Nice set up man but if your gonna do leds on the back and in the grill you could switch out that dashmiser in the cab and get like a talon or somethin but it looks good
Well damn, they def. can see you coming down the road.

Wow! That is one of the coolest emergency lighting setups!!! very simple and pleasing look too.
good job! :)
those small blue ones dont do much.
My uncle who is retired is volunteer. fire police.
He has 1 blue one. but cant drive with it on until @ the scene as for our station
in Dickson City, PA prohibits it. unless like at the scene and pulled over.
Good work man!
