Well, Apple is good for minimalists. I dislike them for their commercials, where they talk about PC's, as if they are impossibly complicated. Very misleading. PC's can do games much better, and there are many more titles.
BTW, yeah you can have a very capable PC cheap these days. :) I priced one the other day on Google, and I found a complete PC (including monitor, keyboard, and mouse) for under $400. It would be able to handle games, too.

Hey, there are idiots out there who bought the XBox which has a built in light that goes on when it's time to send in for repair. Everyone I know who owns one has sent it in at least once. Eh, I was hoping Apple would've released a decent, affordable netbook but they didn't. I'm not going to dish out $600-$800 for a huge iPod - it's design makes it vulnerable to breaks from falls, too. There's no screen protection. No flash, no multi-tasking? No USB ports? Are they out of their minds? No way I would buy that and this is coming from a newly (but barely -now) converted Mac fan.

The prices of the ipad are almost extortionate you can get a netbook or a laptop on a cheap contract with 3g and you don't have to pay for the laptop!
Ipad is no where near a netbook or a laptop if it can't do flash or multitasking.
The only enhancement from the iPod touch is the bigger screen and the better music/mail/app store apps
Other than that it's the same darn thing

@marvelzmelvin Okay this is not a laptop, the point is to have a laptop, an iphone, and this ipad. If you have all 3 you can use whichever fancies you at anytime. It is a bit pricey but we don't need any of the things that we buy, it's a luxury and luxury comes with a price,

no Calls - can't hook up bluetooth to make calls

AGPS is Assisted GPS. It is the same as a GPS... It has a GPS chip which can be utlised just as it is or "assisted" to help get a faster lock on. There are also navigation software for download at the App store which can turn your device into a full fledged GPS device.
"Only iPhone apps" ? What were you expecting from a device that runs the iPhone OS. How does this look like your CRT?? This is an IPS LCD screen, 100x better quality. Ok, no calls but this thing isn't competing with the iPhone..
