I really think putting an age on a rating is pointless,it depends on maturity,not age,to handle some thing like,Manhunt 2.The ESRB has it's whole basis set around average IQ for an age group.Mad World is intended for mature people,so it isn't besmirching the Wii's family friendliness,no one forces parents or anyone to buy these games.

I never saw the point in having such extreme violence in games. Is it enjoyable to see that much detail in it? Games like this and manhunt are far too violent to be properly enjoyed, at least by me. But really, if I found people enjoying this brutality much, I would question their sanity, and whether or not they are angry people in real life. Violence in games is OK, and I play violent games like Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2 a lot. But there is a limit, and so much detail is never necessary.

I support this game. Nintendo have stepped into the light by allowing SEGA to publish another game for the hardcore gamers that have been ranting about casual games. If this is the start of Wii being more for hardcore gamers too, then I will finally feel it's worth to own my Wii. Why is eveyone against the wii zapper and violent wii games? I used to own a Wii. I don't think the games are any more/less violent than the next console. These people are failing to realize that IT'S JUST A GAME! The real world is much more. Look at the 'balance' between positive & negative media that's being pushed. I don't know why they complain so much when it comes to video games movies don't get this much hate. When I went to buy no more heroes I had to come back with someone over 18 even though I was a week from my turning 17 and being able to buy it on my own how would a 10 year old end up getting M rated game(I forgot the rating is used in the U.K.)

My friend had an x box since he was 12 and still hasn't owned any of the GTA games. parents just need to be more responsible.

Those pressure groups are also incredibly sensationalist, it's insane. Games consoles started out targeting the teenage male demographic, Nintendo aren't going to ignore a target market by only publishing 'fluff' titles.
