does anybody have any sears commercial clips that has a beautiful black haired woman with lucious red lips and at the end of the commercial she says,"see you at sears".I have been wanting to see those commercials again because that woman was so beautiful and I'd like to know who she is and what she is doing these days. Can anyone help?
If you google "sears sucks", you will get dozens of websites featuring countless horror stories of customer disservice, lousy product quality, questionable business ethics, boorish employee behavior, and promises to never ever ever buy from sears again ever EVER! Now google "sears is great" or "I like sears" or anything positive like that and you get NOTHING!
My dad was a German WWII refugee who worked as the "TV shop" electronics serviceman at my home town Sears for thirty years, from 1958-87. He had integrity and was excellent at what he did; he could repair as many as 12 TVs a day. It was a thrill as a kid to go visit his shop. He won internal Sears contests for best shop; as a largely one-man operation he topped shops with as many as five guys.
If he were still here, his advice to you would be: Never buy a maintenance agreement.
@DesiluTrek . I always enjoyed going our small local Sears outlet store, they could fix just about anything and always had great discount prices to, but sadly they closed ours in Vancouver Washington.
@DesiluTrek. I'm sure you're father was talented, however I purchased a Samsung 40inch LED from Sears last year and bought their 3 year protection. I had a massive power surge throughout my home this years, and Sears covered it 100% and I got a brand new TV. I also get a free in-home check up ever year. Are you joking? TVs in his day were made with 3 or 4 components....now they have hundreds of circuitry, computer parts, and processors that cost hundreds to replace if they go out.
Man, how depressing when the highlight of your life is going to Sears.

Pong games, ill-fitting jeans and "muzzlers" = Win.

They should go back to the old logo. Simple, classy. The new one is terrible.

This is probably 1982 or 1983.

Yeah, they are using the 1970-1984 logo

The logo itself, set in the Roman Serif typeface, first appeared on printed material in late 1963.
