Overbrookxxx is right, The Belmonts had left by this time. The backing vocalists are The Del - Satins who in 1968 teamed up with the late Johnny Maestro from The Crests (16 Candles) to form The Brooklyn Bridge.

Just returned from Japan and if you think we are into the Oldies, you shoud go there and here the oldies sung in Japanese! It is so kewl...you know the song, but hearing it in a different language, just makes one wonder why this music has lasted over the ages, where so many other stylse come and go! Whoever said Rock & Roll is here to stay, knew what they were talking about, Because it is still alive and well and not just here!

This is of course not The Belmonts, Dion had been a solo artist since Runaround Sue and The Belmonts sounded nothing like this for this, Runaround Sue and all his solo hits his studio back up vocal group were The Del Satins, They had a hit of their own you can hear on youtube called Teardrops Follow Me.

Why is it every time I hear a Dion song I forget all my troubles and woes, and feel really good and uplifted? It`s been this way since the late fifties when I was a 12 year old....... Dion is still Touring/performing and recording, his singing still sounds great. What a Legend !!! When are they going to make a film about his life story? Check out his more recent CDs including his "Deja-Nu" 2000 Brill...............
