  • av been a scratch dj for 9 years they any good ???

  • What do u use now? Which software?

  • @lazyrealguy

serato itch with pioneer ddj s1

  • @DJJayStoneMusic Why would you ever go for the ddj s1 over the denon?

  • Nice Mix. I do own also 2 denon 3700. Its Great technique. Is it easy to install the 3700 with Traktor? Greets from Germany

  • @lazyrealguy

I dont know man! I dont have these any more. There should be some mappings for traktor, and i think denon have added some kinda hybrid midi mode to them. Check denon's web page for info!

  • Where do you get the Red disc for the 3700?

  • horses

  • I love this mix man good job!

  • I want these definitely, when i get rid of my s3500s. Too bad I dont have $1800 to spend on two of these new. But now i know its worth the price.

  • btw, what flight case would you suggest for these?

  • @DJfriski

I had a Road Ready case for cdj 1000/800, but they fit in it perfectly! You can check some Odissey Products too!

  • liking the robot at 3:16 :P

im looking to pick up some of these soon :)

  • do these run better with serato or tracker or does it matter? lookin into pickin these up soon !

  • @wigganation1550

don't know mate! I think traktor runs better on them! I dont have them any more and i didn't use em as a midi controllers while i had em, so i cant tell u much!

  • @DJJayStoneMusic ok thanks man

  • @DJJayStoneMusic may i just ask, sorry to be nosey, why did you sell them?

  • wa!! rifas

  • Hey quick question :) how do you record ur mixes so the audio has good quality instead of camera quality

  • @PUREJOKES123

Use a RCA cable from ur booth/master2 output to connect in ur computers mic input! Then u can record ur mix in almost any audio editing software! Im using Cool Edit Pro 2............

  • how long have you been djing man? good mix :D I'm looking into getting a pair of cd decks, and you just convinced me these rock!

  • @frivolousfieds

Hi man.... dunno, bout 4years.... ah this is just a shit test mix lol.... well, they are great decks, but i think i would go for pioneer cdj-900 now....

  • @DJJayStoneMusic lol, why would you say that? Are the Denon's wearing out on you already?

  • @frivolousfieds

actually i sold mine a few months ago lol..... i wanted to go more digital and start some music production, so i got xone dx, roland fantom g6, ableton live and stuff!

They are great decks and for the price is a totally great buy, but if ur wishing to control traktor etc i would go for pioneer, cuz they have more supported sound card!

  • you know you can't use the center pin on these to slow the tracks down and que them up?

it isn't connected to the drive in any way, so us old schoolers used to using the center pin have to find another way to slow the 'record' down

  • Screw the pioneers, the Denon 3700's are more turntable like!! And where did you get the red record?

  • Nice mix man. Denon are the very best, even their dns1200 kicks ass.

  • That are some serious skills in my opinion. Very nicelt done! I can't wait till i can buy 2 S3700 and a X1700!

  • yes i need denon 3700 where that you live

  • Comment removed

  • @gdog91 sent you a message

  • @gdog91 yes i need doest denon if you have

  • I got 2 dns 3700, they are fa-bu-lous !!!

  • first track in the mix (need +pitch) :D

  • I Been thinking about getting the 3700 had any durability issue with it?

  • Thinking about getting the 3700..Any problems with it?

  • whats the best dj software for dns 3700?

  • @TheRichardsalvador79

Try Traktor pro, VDJ 6 or PcDj!

  • You can use Virtual DJ, mixvibes, etc...

  • chek me out

  • when are you gettin' the dn-x1700? that would be sweet!

  • is the waveform display exatcly enough?

i mean, can you suspect what´s coming up next. i don´t like suprises xD

  • yep. its showing a full song wave form!

  • hey r the dns3700 better than the cj800mk2

  • Sure is! :) It has a lot more features!

  • @DJJayStoneMusic is it durable and does it have any probs if u use it for 8 hours straight or so and does it last

  • Yep... no probs with that! I had them on for 3 days on a row! I used em for a gig for 5 hours, works just fine!

  • r the btter than the k2s

  • 1000mk2 ones? well, i picked em up over mk3's ...LOL

  • ut ppl say that this moving plater heats up after a wile

  • dunno, i never check that! u can turn it off and have it just for pitch bend tho...

  • That orange one? Thats just a sticker ;)

  • mmm:/ the beats going off

  • I know.... lol...

It was just a quick first test mix!

  • About the work horse thing -- Rubbish, my 3500s have out lasted my 800 mk 2s 3 times now Ive had to change the lazers on em dennons are still powering through!!! Truth is Pioneer costs a third of the price to manufacture shows how much you are getting ripped off, besides pioneers are easy to use but they are boaring!! Dennon will keep you entertained for much longer for a better price choice is simple.

  • cheers!

    thanks for ur comment!

  • enjoyed that :oD

  • to use them without the rotating jog... better a cdj1000

  • heard these go for 699 now

thats pretty cheap probaly get them both for 13 out the door

  • whats ur mixer?

  • vestax pmc-280

  • can i get a mix on 1 hour from you would be very nice of you jaystonemusic =) just name it to jay stone - mixing

  • beautiful....i,ve been watching this many times.and learned few tricks as well.keep up the good work.

  • hello good mix good song and the denon is a very nice job for mix????but i'am buy a new turntable cd and my first choice is denon 1200 or 3700 in second choice.thaks your for mix and please you sea a playlist for mix session;

  • why you don't try at 127-128 bpm...i think it will be better... ;-)

  • i think that they are toooooooo much fast the tracks....now is around 130 bpm?

  • yea...about 130/132bpm.... thats the tempo i usually play in!

  • @DJJayStoneMusic

How much did you spend on the turn table? i mean the whole set, i think i am buying one and i dont want to spend my money on the Pioneer because it is too expensive, thankyou

Great mix by the way, good job

  • 950€ for one deck! But i got em just when they was released! Now, u can get one for about 800/850€!

Whole set was about 2700€ (Two decks, mixer, headphones, flight case)!

    Yea...Pio is too overpriced!

    Cheers!:)

  • really?? hmm. here in the us theyre $799 id say thats around 500 euro? (i dont know the conversion)

  • Nice very nice mix, im thingking off buying two dns3700 are they good working whith.???

  • Yap man!

They have all the features you'l need, still very easy to use and very user friendly, professional players! They are a great choice!

  • what mixer is that?

  • Vestax PMC-280

  • good stuff

  • nigga fuck your white dutch ass

  • u know what. i wanna be just like you. your real example for people man.,

i hope you get succesfull in your life. that off course won't be any problem with your very polite behaviour

  • nigga who cares

  • LOL!!! :D:D:D

  • stop playing like a cheese dick and play from your heart, no britney spears!

  • yo man got something against dutch people?.

this mix is quite nice so if you dont like , leave it, dont comment it till you are better yourself.

    no offence offcourse =)

  • Nice mix! Can you comment on whether you think the 3700s are a good starter's set? It's either those or the cdj 800, which I think are inferior to the 3700s.

  • starters set??? lol...i think they are even better than cdj 1000's! C mon, check the features of 3700's and any pioneer deck!!! these are a lot more better! IMO!!! :)

  • Actually u cant compare them! Cdj 800 is a dj cd player, cdj 1000 is a professional dj cd player and 3700 is a professional digital turntable! So basically they are different units, but with 3700's you can do more than with other decks!

  • Thanks for the comments! I was pretty much sold on them already, but it's always nice to talk to ppl who've used the gear. I've played with the 3700s in the music store and they are just amazing. I hate ppl knocking the denon because it isn't pioneer, but pioneer is 3 years old now and overpriced. :-/

  • Most likely its DN-S3500's CUE slip and beat drag problems that makes this silly impression about Denon decks! But there's nothing like that on 3700's!

Denon and Pioneer are two the best cdj brands in the game! They both have awesome high end, top quality players that s**t's all over all the other brands! What to chose is up to you! If you want a cdj just because its "club standard" then go with Pio, but if you look at it seriously and compare the features, then these ones are higher level!:)

  • just one thing: Pioneers are workhorses, Denons are fancy dressage horses. They both do what they are supposed to do, only the dressage horse can do a bit more. but in the end, the workhorse will do what its supposed to do for a longer period.

  • amazing - ive been djing using normal cd players n traktor etcfor bout 7 years.. how long u think it would take to pick this method up on these decks? ive never actually used vinyl in past..

  • Im not sure what do you mean by "this method"!

They aren't vinyl decks, they are normal cdj's too, just the platter looks like vinyl!

Im using usb sticks, but it works the same way as mixing with cd's!

If ur using traktor, just put in time code cd's and ur ready to go!

But basically they work's the same as other cdj's!

    Hope that helped! :)

  • @DJJayStoneMusic

hey its been a good while since i left that message ive since moved from traktor onto scratch live with technics 1210's but thyre very heavy and clunky to take to gigs. b4 i just meant how long would it take to move to pick up manual beat matching as i had been using the SYNC feature in traktor for way too long lol..

im still considering these denon decks maily as i still prefer the "no arm" vinyl feel and lack of stylus etc.

  • great mix but just a lil advice ... u gotta lower the pitch alotttttt

and also ur bpm was slightly offf

but that was a nice mix

  • i know....its more like a mess about not a real proper mix!!! lol

    Thanks anyway!:)

  • nice mix :D keep up the good work

    like those denon 3700

  • Well, its more like a mess about, but thanks anyway!

    Yeah, these decks are awesome!!!;)

    Cheers!

  • nice

  • niceee man ! i just orderd the 3700's also ! wat kind of mixer is that ? im trying to get my hands on the DN-X1700! :D

  • Thanx! Its a Vestax PMC-280 PRO mixer.

Yeah...X1700 is a real bad ass unit, but for me it costs a BOMB! :(
