The original one from back In the 80's Is a classic with legend Ray Harryhausen sfx shop. Calibos and Medussa gave me nightmares. The new one well, the only thing that kept It was Draco and medussa, the film lost the creepyness to It compared to the 80's film.

I agree. The 3d-ness was utter crap. Plus, a lot of it was out of focus, because of the 3d bad quality. Any fast, detailed areas looked blurred out. And this was on Imax, in London. The best money can buy, which says a lot.

Why in all these modern Greek Mythology movies Hades is the bad guy. Wouldn't it make more sense if Ares was the bad guy. Ares was basically everything that Hades was in this movie and he was already a bad guy in Greek Mythology so its not like your short on villains.

You know what's funny is I couldn't remember any of the character's in the original much either,except for Andromeda,and Persius, so to me that's a shit complaint.Also in the original persius wasn't like some really cool guy either,with depth, he was a pretty plain character.With less of a back story.But what did make me a little mad is in the original he did alot to save Andromeda,but in this there was not as much of a love story.So it's not a total rehash.If it was exact I wouldn't like it.
I love how Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes, basically had the same thought: The script is shit, so let's just BS our way through it. Oddly enough, they still had the best performances in the movie. Imagine that, the guys that could care less still did a better job than those trying to hold their own
(cont) go after it? Either way would have made the fight longer. Which you need a long battle because the movie keeps reminding you that the battle with the Kraken is going to be epic because the Kraken is invincible, but it turns into a 3-5 minute fight.
This movie and the original Clash of the Titans movie were both great, but both suffered from the same problem. The final battle is too short. In the original, Perseus took forever to get to the Kraken, which doesn't make up for the battle being short. In this one, the Kraken takes forever to get out of the water. I know that Perseus has Medusa's head which turns anything to stone, but since the Kraken is a titan, why not make it only weaken him or have the Kraken eat the head and make Perseus
Agree 100% Only I didnt watch it in 3D so I can only imagine how much I would hate it if I did.. The main characters hair f'ing pissed me off, like.. clean shaven face, and short hair.. Looks SO BAD.. everyone else around him has scruff, beards, and long dirty hair.. which is how it should be!! But noooo... he was the worst part of the movie for me.. Totally un-convincing.. but I guess thats fits in with the rest of the movie doesnt it.. I take it back
ok i saw this IN 2D and thought, hum not bad, kinda fun to watch because its so stupid with some cool monster scenes, then again i never saw the original but for all its worth, its a monster movie, i must have very low expectations
1080p is when it is filmed in HD which are all movies today.
1080i is when a movie, say Toy Story, that came out before HD are converted. all that is different is that pixels are added to each frame by computers and so sometimes, not all, it looks fake
Y'know, this is one of those movies where I get why people hate it, but I actually didn't. I mean, everyone said so many horrible things about it, that it honestly would have been impossible tolive up to that dissappointment. I mean sure, it was nowhere close to being as good as the original, it it sure could have been better, but it was still kind of enjoyable. I mean, look at it this way, it was nowhere near as bad as Transformers 2 or G.I. Joe.

I prefer the new one,I don't here any good point's,about anything,really in this review,I prefer the angrier Persius versus the original confused as hell Persius who asked Amon the old guy from Rocky everything,and Hades is a better villian then Thetis was,I do have complaint's though,I agree that they should of had the god's in it a little more,and Andromeda too,but they had the God's in it too much in the original,and they were very boring on screen,it slowed it down,them,and their Toga's.

I agree. The 3d-ness was utter crap. Plus, a lot of it was out of focus, because of the 3d bad quality. Any fast, detailed areas looked blurred out. And this was on Imax, in London. The best money can buy, which says a lot.

Why in all these modern Greek Mythology movies Hades is the bad guy. Wouldn't it make more sense if Ares was the bad guy. Ares was basically everything that Hades was in this movie and he was already a bad guy in Greek Mythology so its not like your short on villains.
Only good thing I have to say about this movie is Liam Nealson as Zeus.

Being the Greek geek I am, the thing that bothered my the most about this movie was the title. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE TITAN INVOLVED!!!!! It should've been called, "Clash of the Gods" Or at the very least, "Why was that guy mad at him again?"

The only things i like about this Movie are the titans and the gods. The gods couldnt look any better and play any better. Hades and Zeus were the best in the film. They looked like true gods. Shining armor and well acted. Everything else was like WTF!. Shit cast apart from the gods and titans. Medusa Rocks!.

You know what's funny is I couldn't remember any of the character's in the original much either,except for Andromeda,and Persius, so to me that's a shit complaint.Also in the original persius wasn't like some really cool guy either,with depth, he was a pretty plain character.With less of a back story.But what did make me a little mad is in the original he did alot to save Andromeda,but in this there was not as much of a love story.So it's not a total rehash.If it was exact I wouldn't like it.

I love how Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes, basically had the same thought: The script is shit, so let's just BS our way through it. Oddly enough, they still had the best performances in the movie. Imagine that, the guys that could care less still did a better job than those trying to hold their own

This movie and the original Clash of the Titans movie were both great, but both suffered from the same problem. The final battle is too short. In the original, Perseus took forever to get to the Kraken, which doesn't make up for the battle being short. In this one, the Kraken takes forever to get out of the water. I know that Perseus has Medusa's head which turns anything to stone, but since the Kraken is a titan, why not make it only weaken him or have the Kraken eat the head and make Perseus

Agree 100% Only I didnt watch it in 3D so I can only imagine how much I would hate it if I did.. The main characters hair f'ing pissed me off, like.. clean shaven face, and short hair.. Looks SO BAD.. everyone else around him has scruff, beards, and long dirty hair.. which is how it should be!! But noooo... he was the worst part of the movie for me.. Totally un-convincing.. but I guess thats fits in with the rest of the movie doesnt it.. I take it back

1080i is when a movie, say Toy Story, that came out before HD are converted. all that is different is that pixels are added to each frame by computers and so sometimes, not all, it looks fake

Y'know, this is one of those movies where I get why people hate it, but I actually didn't. I mean, everyone said so many horrible things about it, that it honestly would have been impossible tolive up to that dissappointment. I mean sure, it was nowhere close to being as good as the original, it it sure could have been better, but it was still kind of enjoyable.
