Really cool video, but it seemed like it was the same shot over and over. No offense. ;) I liked the missed 3 ball at the end the best, I think. I'd like to see some extreme English, maybe masse shots. Keep it up man.
@boegybangerboy Thanks! Good eye - that is a Diamond Pro 9' table. I haven't checked the market recently, but I still love my Casio EX FH-25. Most of my videos come from that camera. They're pretty inexpensive now, so they are great for dabbling. Despite the low price, this is a great camera that gives you a lot of control over the exposure/shutter settings. Have fun!
Fantastic video! I have always wanted to dab in slow mo videography, could you maybe recommend some equipment? btw, you got a great break and stroke, nice table too, reminds me of a diamond table :)
@FromThe412 - Thanks!! I've often regretted not throwing in the real-time footage for comparison. As for the shot at 2:05, I have to admit that it was a fluke. I wish I could do that on demand, but I was lucky enough to capture my awesome mistake in slow motion...
@trickyshot2002 - Thanks! This is how I see it when I'm planning a shot. If you can "see" it in slow motion, then shoot it in real time, you're in great shape!
@AustrianBull - Thanks! That's a Diamond Pro 9' table with nasty tight pockets, and my Predator P2 with a very hard Moori tip. Camera is Casio Exilim EX-FH20, and I use 2600 watts of halogen work lights from Home Depot to get high quality slow motion indoors...
@1969portsmouth, @kizheciozhec, and @venomtrickshots: Thanks for the support. This camera has been so much fun! I think they're pretty cheap now - and still one of the best SloMo cameras out there. VenomTrickShots, you have some crazy good skills - I'd love to see your talents in slomo. 1969portsmouth, my favorite thing is the oscillating cue after each shot. Ever since I started playing pool, I've wanted to see it in slow motion. The Colorado State videos are really cool, too - make sure you
@espeo25, most of these were follow shots - I hit the cue ball near the top. There were a couple of draw (bottom) and side spin shots, too. Check out my other pool videos for more, especially the Masse video. Thanks for checking it out!
