loved this game so much as a kid, but I specifically remembered this level freaking me out, especially with moonlight sonata playing :P

I think it's one of the weirdest levels of a game I've ever played....

I miss the way games and cartoons could get away with being wacky and random the way EJ was, I pity todays youth.

the trick to beating The Flyin King was to leave the baloon at the start and clear the entire level of enemies, then zoom back to the start and take the balloon through without any obstacles.

Hehe. Earthworm Jim is just plain weird. In "Flying King", Jim's piloting his flying ship through an isometric landscape with medieval ships firing cannonballs, cannons shooting men that try to slow Jim down, all the while pushing a hot air balloon bomb that says "BOOM" to a snot filled landscape and blast the shit out of a gigantic snot creature.
