theres this kid randy at my school, and, he stares at me and my friend (unknown) and he spins around and does a creepy face, and we got in trouble with the teachers, but now, were friends with him cuz hes kool, and we understand, after researching numerous hours on aspergers
Thanks. To be honest, I think Alex was a fool grabbing for attention. One of the main reasons I did this was because A. some people really do have this. and B. Response videos are good for getting subscribers.
anyway, thanks for watching... check out some of my other videos if you want!
Narr I have looked at the video and i think you are perfectly normal. You just don't like the run of the mill person and are quirky...Thats a good thing...........
I've got AS too, and the music issue, but I'll only claim to speak for myself. The music issue isn't really a dislike, but a complete intolerance. The sound of 'bad' music is no different than fingernails on a blackboard. It is nearly painful and nauseating. If it is in the background, I can find myself becoming impatient and even downright hostile towards people and objects. Once I recognize that it is the music, I move away, or shut it off, and the irritation is almost instantly gone.
ipodkiller6, I'm all for homeschooling. It CAN be a good thing. I had always been homeschooled, I didn't know anything else. So I didn't have any real exposure to children my age until I was around 14. So I don't feel I completely developed the "full set of social skills." But your system, having friends and homeschooling, I think is a good thing.
take it from me... you will end up happy, wealthy, and successful. Stay out of "the rest" and their troubles, focus on your life and honing your skills, and find good friends if you can. Remember that, according to statistics, most things in this world fall under the normal curve. You just happen to be a few standard deviations outside the curve, and thats a good thing...just stay out of the masses and be yourself. When you get out of high school, this won't matter anymore.
i'm 16 and homeschooled. it's a lot better then public schools. because i can do homework in a comfortable environment and still go see my friends all over the state.
Yeah, I know I don't have Aspergers... I was just relating my situation to Alex's. Some of what he said seemed to me more like public school than some kind of condition. Though I am by no means degrading his situation.
Public schools force kids in small settings and because of that it is human nature to break into seperate groups and to be in the "cool" group, some people alter themselves so they fit in better. That's ok if you're still true to yourself and nice to others. I was "cool" but also friends with everyone. Now I'm older but definitely against conformity but I realize there has to be some due to other people's conformity. It seems kids have gotten worse but maybe that's cuz I'm older.
I'm no expert, but from the way you described your situation, I doubt you have asbergers. I was home schooled for a couple of years, when I got back to regular school it was a little difficult to relate to my classmates. It might take some time, but you'll get more used to their way of acting, just give it time.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I dunno, after watching all the other rejects who have aspergers and then watching you, I think you have a pretty good chance of having it.

Hi!!
I'm not american and it seems you have a very agressive educational sistem!
I studied with some pretty annoying and cruel people and now I see how meaningless it all was!
We all fell like outsiders when we think in a different way or when we like different things, but it is NEVER bad!
Don't think the problem is you! It probrably is the way things are being showed to you!
Try to find friendxs with soimilar thoughts...
Good Luck!
I really liked your video!!
