That particular Signature Tune is my TOP FAVE of the two...and *this* version is in its FULL-LENGHT UNCUT GLORY!
Wonder if they'll ever consider having this music track stand alone in a Cartoon Signature Tune CD compilation of some sort? I, for one, would snap it up IMMEDIATELY, if not sooner, on the strength of THIS version of the "Batfink" Signature Tune being on it..
Some of the ones on DVD were restored with the wrong theme music. Specifically, "Big Ears Ernie", "Nuts of the Round Table" and "The Chocolate Covered Diamond". "Gluey Louie" was the first one to use the newer theme music. It was used again on "Crime College" and beginning permanently with "Brain Washday".
I've been look'g for the name of this cartoon for the past forty years, thanks to a musician from Toronto he told me the name. its like meet'g an old friend of your childhood again, my search is over, thank you youtube & all your people my life is semi-complete
I remember watching as a kid, and yea I would have been about 7 or 8 when it played, on WGRZ, out of bufflio, and mixed in with tomfoolery another cartoon I found a while back as well, I also found the wizard of Oz, professor kitzal, pinnoceio, max the two thousand year old mouse, plus a few more, thier on my site if you want to check them out, mate, thanks again, for posting these classics, cheers
Heywood "Woody" Kling later wrote for 'THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW".

The music that begins at 1:23 is Batfink's original theme song for the first 18 or so episodes.

Not all of the first 18 though (unless the dvd set changed it).

Did you know that this cartoon was made in 1967? It wasn't shown in the UK until the 80's. I got this information from wikpedia.
