  • Well S/Dad did not play a guitar for over 50 yrs., I put one in his hand, and he Picked-strings just like you, and did a great job.***** You brought some tears to my eyes, knowing what my S/Dad had missed all of these yrs. Thank you for posting these gems for us to hear. Bless you!!!

  • You play the guitar so beautifully. I clicked you from my guides channel and found such a comforting tune from your masterful hands. Last week I took a guitar to my (Step<---Donot use this word :-) Daddy, he is 93 and been my daddy for over 38 yrs.--He mentioned he used to play guitar a little bit (Mom called it evil-My daddy had died and he had been an alcol. and she associated guitar-with booze and all evil) SAD.

  • Hi There James,

The song sounds great. You have great feel and technique, it's always good to see guitar players carrying the "fingerstyle" torch. If you'd like to check out some of my videos I'd like to know what you think. Hope your doing well, keep playing man. ...Alex.

  • Excellent follow through with the piece. The fluidity of your style has great potential. Keep playin' on!

  • i'm wondering... is this all memorized or are you improvising? or maybe a bit of both? either way it's amazing.

  • Cheers, for the comment. There was no improvising when I did the video, although I did come up with the tune through improvising with the guitar in CGCGCD tuning. Glad you like!! James

  • Thats remarkably concise playing, sounds so easy on the ears, and probably, I wouldnt say complex but the way its composed to fit around open strings is complicated and would require alot of skill.
