I bought the Acer P1303W its awsome for the price. You do have to go through a computer to get the 3D to work. I have a AMD FX 6 core proccesor and ATI 6770HD card that supports 3D. I then bought a Blu Ray 3d Internal Burner from LG for 77 bucks which is really nice. I got the Expand x102 Active glasses designed for most DLP 3D Ready Projectors they are price well and look great. Just needed to download TotalMedia Theatre 5
you can see the picture if you have a white background, ( It displays in multiple colored BG ) but with it's contrast ratio and brightness.... u wouldn't enjoy watching multimedia in bright light.
do you need nvidia 3d kit to make this work? because if that is the case you also need a graphics card... how can something be 3d READY if you need more hardware to make it work... i dont get it.
do you know what exactly i need to get 2 glasses with 3d please?

not bad but you can get good deals on ebay for used projectors cause most of the sellers that sell office salvage dont know what they have,i just got 3 sony VPL 1080i NATIVE projectors for 120 with 30 shipping.all three have 5000 hour bulbs and each one had less that very low hours used on the bulbs,235 on the 1st 350 on the2nd and 635 on the third.
if you just know how to shop you can get things for a song.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about X110 but I can tell you about this product if you want to know more. I also have experience with acer 3d h5360 so if you want to know about it I can help you.
@imranse1 yes it is compatible with HD 1080p. and it is 3d ready. I didn't check it with Nvidia 3D vision though. many sites say it is not compatible with Nvidia's 3D. however it is compatible with texas instrument 3D and you can use expand 3D glasses with it. it's a good projector for home theater. fantastic part is that you can use your wall for projection. it doesn't matter any colored wall. it has a setting to choose the color of your wall and it manages accordingly.

I don't know if you get vivitek, optoma and other competing brands in UK. but this one has 4000:1 contrast ration which is very rare to find on projector of this price range. that was the first reason I choose this projector. other similar projector have lesser contrast ratio and brightness. if you have more budget I'd suggest you Optoma HD66 which is awesome. has HDMI and and is compatible with any 3d. price should be high by not more than 200.
@imranse1 no there are no glasses that come with this projector. infact there are no projector that comes with glasses from the factory. they are sometimes added by the retailer as a package. remember this projector is 3d ready. that means you need to manage yourself for other stuffs that you need for watching 3d. this also has no HDMI so you have to use your 3d ready computer's VGA to project 3d videos. or you can also buy a HDMI or DVI to VGA adapter and use with your 3d blue-ray player.
you can ask any question about this projector that is answerable by me, I've been using this for quite long now. I can give you review and suggest you.

where do i get the glasses for the 3d from?
cant find them on amazon or internet at all.
