  • God says ask and you shall receive, so I'm asking that if we could come together as the body of christ and please take time to hear my music especially that there not to many Gospel Rap Artist out there in these last day, Thanks & God Bless...

  • You no its funny they use to think that songs like amazing grace were evil for the times how ever you do praise the lord always =).

  • This is not just hip hop. This is preaching.

  • Cray mane! Do ya thang killa saw you in colorado springs keep doin it for the king of kings keep inspireing listeners not alotta guys doin it like u 1 siaH

  • @lucasdasilvamaria

    @awmyredsoulja

I can't agree more with both of you! This song just gave me chills too. I also hate how even christians in my church would look down in this wonderful hip hop rap. I especially knew of one person who refused to believe there was such thing as christian; God honoring rap music even when I had him listen to several songs from Lecrae. Yeah, my church would rather have old century music from hundreds of years ago hymns sang...

  • its still hip hop! why does it matter? it IS worship music. and it IS rap/hiphop/all of the above. its a different form of hip hop! I Love This Rap Music. Praise the Lord. Im tryna change for you Jesus....

  • This is Kevin from the label. Look I am flat out saying that you are not being wise and you are not thinking before you write. Who are you to be used by the enemy to cause division? Most people do not know the difference between Hip Hop and Rap. Furthermore the words used make the difference not the style. Hip Hop is just more metaphors so I ask you and everyone else to inspect the metaphor and please do not throw well meaning artist that are serving Christ in with those who clearly are not

  • This isn't hip hop. This is worship music. Call it what you want but it is not hip hop because it does not have the content that hip hop consists of. Also, yes I do listen to some secular music, while knowing that the influence it may have on my thoughts and Christian walk will most likely be negative. However, it's not your place to condemn me for my actions and choice of music. To answer your question, people generally make the choices they want to make, usually while knowing the consequence.

  • And God said... The key is the lyrics or the words used. Combinations of words gives thoughts, thoughts cause action or inaction and actions or the lack of creates our reality or our life. The enemy has a blind fold over the eyes of some because he (the enemy) is scared and aware of what happens in the human mind with symbolic thought. Look it up. Rhythm makes it easier to remember and emotionalize words. Rap can save millions more souls for Christ if we unite.

  • Hip hop is evil. Think about what the majority of hip hop consists of and promotes. Rape, sex, drugs, violence, profanity, drug distribution, immoral acts, materialism, idolatry, disrespect..... That's why so many people hate it. Check out this website:: mystery of hiphop.com

  • @CuteBasedChick On CuteBasedChick's YouTube page she likes Drake and other hip hop that is secular... Ummmm. Plus this is a 17 year old opinion. Does anyone remember how shortsighted you were at 17? Check this out, maybe rap and hip hop need balance in the message? If people could choose between lyrics and subject matter that destroys or builds and they knew they were choosing, how would they choose?

  • @mrgrealityAMPLIFIED Age actually has little to do with wisdom. Are you implying however, that because I'm 17 that my opinion is immature and therefore doesn't count worth listening to? Don't fool yourself, sir. I know a lot more than you think. Rap and hip hop are two different things. Rap is poetry recited to music. Hip hop is evil, as I before stated. If you checked out the website given, that would have given you more insight and detail than I have time to give.

  • i kikk girl dog lick dat porkshop girl big dork girl fork

  • Listen to the word of God. Humans have one main problem, our problem is being used to things being done in a certain way. Hip hop, rock, r&b etc were all meant for the glory of God. God created humans so that their life will glorify Him. The problem is that the devil came in and corrupted all kinds of music, causing people to sing for him instead of singing for God. We, as believer's have to take back the authority Jesus gave us and put God in everything. Our gifts were all meant to glorify God.

  • @onyeil Woooo...yeah man.

  • I had found this song by accident and I'll tell you something I jam to this in the Gym all the time! Gets me motivated!

  • WHERE CAN I GET THIS CD??? ANOINTED.....

  • THE SPIRIT IS EVER SO PRESENT DON'T NEGLECT IT CHECK MY PAGE FOR MORE INFO

  • I'm a huge fan of Christian Hip-Hop regardless

  • I would like for it to be understood that there is nothing given unto us that is not a gift from GOD and He loves all kinds of music. Music that exalts Him is His glory and how we express it is our offering.

  • Amazing!! GOD BLESS YOU, JSON AND LECRAE

  • Hey if you take any song ever made and remove the words and just listened to the instruments and beat machines or whatever how could you tell what this song is glorifying. you cant you need to hear the words and now that we no its in the words and not the tempo and presentation. we should be able to clearly see that and song giving god honor is to the glory of god and who are you to deny god his glory because you didnt grow up in a church with drums or fast tempo songs.

  • I thank God for the lyrical lyricists who use the lyrical concept and content to bring God closer to the believers who listen to Hip Hop style of music i love Gospel Hip Hop i am also one of them God bless tha Gospel Hip Hop Family

  • This is a awesome song :)

  • This is tough!!!

  • IS SCREAMING HALLELUJAHHHHHHHHHH. LORD I LOVE YOU

  • I'm a white guy not that it matters but I had a bad impression of rap music, now I can't get enough! I heard the song "Whos da man" by Cross Movement on Radio Free on my iPhone. This music has given me a new understanding and a new dimension! Thanks to groups like these I an closer to the Lord. God bless you all!

  • @raycookie1 bless you as well brother

  • Oh and since then, 116 style Christian rap has more than dominated my speakers, headphones, what I listen to when friends are around..... If I have a choice of music, it starts with the numbers 116. Why isn't this style of music played on "christian" radio nowadays? Cause it goes TO HARD! These guys know truth, they don't just play shows for dough, they live this life. I have met Lecrae, Tedashii, and Sho'Barracka. None of these guys are faking their walk with Christ.

  • Ok, I'll admit, before Lecrae I HATED rap. I am white, but all I knew was what the crappy radio would play, whether it was secular or christian, radio stations KILLED MY INTEREST in rap. Then came an employee who was in my mind, a thug. He brought truth harder than my pastor, and claimed he couldn't read. Now here was a guy tatted up and down, and had 2 tear drop tats, just looked KILLER. But he showed me Rebel by Lecrae, and let me tell you. You'll never be the same after that album.

  • @LinkMaster1711 Amen brotha.

  • This song sends chills up my spine everytime I hear it. Serious!

  • awesome!!!

  • D.O.P.E

  • thats true

  • @h1ghrolla sole fuk u!just fuk off.

  • @h1ghrolla

No don't fuck off, you have the right to your opinion (and i agree =D)

  • Missing line at the end of the hook:

"You're better off never existing if you don't trust the God of the Scriptures, you listening?"

  • Praise God For The Saints of God Taking THE Music Back That sATAN Had Been Taking And MISUSING For Years GLORY TO GOD

  • honestly this song and its lyrics send chills down my spine and tears streaming down my face. to think what our God set aside and what He put on to save wretched beings like us is both amazing and humbling!

  • cool song

  • @awmyredsoulja same here bro...

  • honestly this song and its lyrics send chills down my spine and tears streaming down my face. to think what our God set aside and what He put on to save wretched beings like us is both amazing and humbling!

  • God created all music, so people can use all music to glorify Him. Who are we to say 2 beats and a long note dont/do glorify but 2 long notes and a beat do/dont. Its like saying believers shouldnt wear a certain color. I can remember when if a woman wore red lipstick/fingernail polish/dress to church she would be called a jezebel or tramp. I thought thats crazy...God created all colors people didnt. The Bible says we are free to worship Him in Spirit and Truth- its a LIFESTYLE RELATIONSHIP.

  • The Bible says a person shall be known by his fruit. Is his ministry producing new babes in Christ? Ive seen it in my town. Luke 6:43&45 For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit; nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. ... The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

  • The Bible says the tongue has the power of life and death. Listen to his words- do they speak things of life to leading to Salvation, or death and deception? Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Prov 18:21

  • awesome song, definatly glorifying the LORD.

    Blessed be our Lord Jesus.

  • These Christian music is starting t grow on me!but I still like pacs music for life!

  • The linger part is creepy.

    quality 5/5

    message 10 out of 5

am going to grab this joint!!!!!

  • This is it. True gospel. Why other rappers are ashamed of repping Christ for real. Noone wants to include Jesus in their lyrics. Even in contemporary christian music. These guys are truly a breath of fresh air and may God take them further in their ministry which they are taking seriously

  • FIRE

  • Check out DavidofChrist777 for christian rap.

  • I just saw J'son play at a church tonight and he was amazing! such a sweet and humble person. he had an awesome message and testimony. - paxton

  • You better off never existed if you don't trust the god of the scriptures.

  • Just found a new fav joint. The beat is nice forreal

  • Who is the preacher towards the end?

  • John Piper, bro

  • John Macarthur bro.

  • @buhle78 john Piper

  • bless you man. this is tight

  • whoo..Amen ...all i can say

  • This track is crazy.

  • this song is great.

  • It makes me [perhaps excessively] angry that so many christians who love Jesus hate hip hop and say it is man's wisdom and wordly influence. They would rather exalt a 19 century european musical culture [i mean organs] as "God's culture" than respect the diversity of the Body of Christ.

  • @lucasdasilvamaria - Can we leave the term Hip Hop out of it?! Lets just call it Christian Rap. Because according to krs 1, Afikka Bambatta, and several others Hip Hop is indeed an organized religion. And acoording to krs one "CHRISTIANITYS TIME IS UP", I mean he did write a hip hop bible. I love christian rap, but as far as calling it hip hop... out of the question.

  • scratch my "hip hop" mistake

    i mean christian rap

    :)

  • @SirDoomTheGreat.....we can't get hung up on labels. If you label this music christian Rap you'll limit it's growth. People will see the "Christian" and run. We gotta reach outside our christian bubble. Lecrae's new album on itunes is under Hip hop Genre an was #3 on the album for opening week. That doesn't make his music any less Holy, People change the meaning of words all the time but the message will NEVER change. not bashing you but just wanted to say that. i hope you hear it...be blessed.

  • @kaibaspetdragon Christians are supposed to be the Lights of the world, not one the burned out bulbs like everyone else. We are supposed to live accordingly and let people know who it is we live for, not hide it, i'm not ashamed of God.

    Peace and God Bless

  • that's right bro, if God can't span different musical genres how could he span from the Jews to the gentiles like us? Isn't that the base of Christianity? God made us diverse because He is so diverse, and I continue to see differnt aspects of His diversity in the eyes of people who are just naturally enjoy the gifts and talents God made us with.

  • @lucasdasilvamaria

yeah bro. I know what your saying!

  • @lucasdasilvamaria same here

  • @lucasdasilvamaria I completely agree..we're supposed to praise God in our own way, doesn't matter how, just as long as it praises him

  • @lucasdasilvamaria there is a different between rap and hip-hop. hip hop has its own bible. Rap is just another way to express one's self

  • @lucasdasilvamaria Hip hop is a religion with a bible there is a difference between hip hop and christian rap.

  • @lucasdasilvamaria Amen brotha, Go hard for the Lord everyday lol who care what ppl think right?! music is made to worship God so I don't care what form of music we sing or play as long as it is for the right purpose, to worship our Lord!

  • is that John piper at the end?

  • @lucasdasilvamaria Yeah they are against, "contemporary" music, yet hymns were contemporary music when they were written. I love both as long as they are biblical and Christian rap has way more doctrine than hymns.

  • @saintjhull911 You sound like you heard Shai Linne's lecture about teaching doctrine with rap. :D

  • @lucasdasilvamaria No I didn't would love to though. I have heard way too much debate about this issue and it's really a waste of time in our part. People are dying and going to Hell as Christians debate music. Romans 14 is pretty clear that as long as it's God glorifying don't judge one another. Heard preachers say that they don't like contemporary because it doesn't have doctrine in it but then I said well Christian rap has alot more doctrine than hymns and he wouldn't agree with me.

  • @saintjhull911 Shai Linne's lecture is not a debate on that matter. Is a short biblical exposition of the role of music in teaching doctrine and a argumentation on behalf of rap music in well fulfilling the aspects of didatic music. Its not a nervous debate on silly issues like hip hop being of the devil. :P

  • @lucasdasilvamaria Yeah I understood that it was a lecture not a debate. I was just mentioning that way too many debate about this issue. The one's that are against it wouldn't ever listen to his lecture though because they don't listen to scripture on these matters. Not trying to be mean but Christian rap is changes people's live like no other music does. Which isn't necessarily the music behind the lyrics but rather the doctrine taught in the songs. I love hymns though too. ;)

  • @lucasdasilvamaria AMEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lucasdasilvamaria I have been promoting Christian Hip Hop (Hip Hope) through my church and especially the Middle School and High School Ministry. I tell them, God makes all things new and He will use everything to bring His people back to Him and He is using these rappers to bring Him Glory. If people still want to be deaf to that fact that God is using Hip Hop..than they will have to ask Him....and they will have to remember and not to fall into the trap of a religious pharisee.

  • @lucasdasilvamaria yeah the last few psalm should shake anyone who thinks God is limited to church organs.....when isreal went into battel the earth would shake...music everywhere .....we take this gospel to the people in all forms and ways ....paul become all things to all men.

  • @lucasdasilvamaria I think Christians are not accepting the "hip hop philosophy" not the "style of rapping". I for one would not accept a "Christian" rapper who lives by the hip hop culture. There is literature out there to describe what "true hip hop artists stand for" and it does NOT support the Bible. Now, if the Christian rapper is just that a "Christian rapper"(basically preaching/teaching the Gospel with a beat in the background) then I'll support;-) Peace & Grace!

  • that's john piper on the sermon at the end right?

  • yes it is

  • lol, all the 116/Christian MC's have piper on their music bro.
