For those of you who haven't played M&B, all the people in this video are players. Swinging and blocking is directional, there are many different game modes and yes, if you don't block a sword swung at your head it will in fact hurt. Alot. Unlike ... certain more popular games i could mention...

@coreyPcoreyP To a point, they use a large amount of ragdoll physics which makes falling off of horses and other things like that pretty realistic. The game was originally made by one guy and his gf and i think it got picked up by a very small company when they made Warband. If you want challenging gameplay with an emphasis on player skill warband is one of the best games on the market. It is on sale on steam every now and then and you can sometimes pick it up for a good price.

@barrow321 yes, it is originally made by armagan yavuz and his wife ipek yavuz. Not his gf :)

Actually it came out pretty good considering the tiny company as a developer.

unfortunately, I am worried because of the poor quality of the game. Since others realized this type of gameplay rocks. If any of the bigger companies comes up with something better, no one will look back :/

Great video. Some overlays looked bit confusing and the music was little 80's action series type but other than that brilliant. Where did you get the footage? I've never seen that organized gameplay on a public server. *likes*

I guess it's the 22nd Server, because there people are ordered into formations during events.

Anyway it's a really good video that should be Warband's intro if you ask me.
