  • that is awesome

  • Niece, well done. I like it as much as your voice. Can You make out for a living doing engravings in glass ? No offence Les.

  • "Cold shop is the new hot shop".. I like that!! All the engraving of this piece is with a micromotor drill and diamond, stone and rubber burs. I do not use a lathe.

  • Very inspiring. Cold shop is the new hot shop! Do you use a lathe or do everything with hand tools (Suhner or NSK)?

  • Thank you for sharing your Art with us.

    Your work inspires me.

  • Thank you Jakesdoc, good luck with your inspirations.

  • What did you use to transfer the etching from the original vase, to the medium, and from the medium to the glass? Wax carbon? What is that? How did you get the original onto the carbon?

  • I manipulated the drawing of the figures in photoshop to fit the shape of the vessel. It was a waxy carbon paper I used to transfer it onto my glass.

  • Thank you. I can't help but laugh knowing that I am thousands of miles away from you, and I got a response back in a matter of seconds.

I would have got back with you sooner, but I was looking at some of your work on your website.

    Nice stuff!

  • indeed...mod tech is great! Thanks for the compliments!

  • Thank you very much Lex!
