@zinkerbel Our show that year was "Remembering Stan: The Music of Stan Kenton", featuring La Suerte De Los Tontos, Send in the Clowns, and Malaguena. I'd post the show, but it was nothing to brag about. I wouldn't be able to help for a salute; That wasn't me. I'm just a trumpet player.

@TheBandgeek247 It was the final performance of the year, which was held for parents and friends. We did, however, have access to the football field that night, so we used it!

Overall that's an awesome salute, a lot of creativity, nice flow and variety and strong technique. A few minor flubs, but for a mace salute that long, that is to be expected. Many of those moves are very difficult especially in full uniform (i.e. the move where the mace passes over each elbow at 0:26 is basically impossible in uniform, its amazing he got that got that far through the roll, also the move at the end is very difficult when restricted in "bibbers" [a.k.a marching band pants] ).

@BackstageTechie It was all improvised. Thats not his normal salute of course. Way too open for mistakes.
