@garycalgary I would agree with you, this guy is an idiot. Statutes in the law release trains and their operators from liability, should reasonable action be taken by said operator. In this case, upon activation of the on-board HELP system, the train should have been stopped immediately, regardless of where in the line it was. This can be taken as a lack of action on the operators part, and therefore, in this case, CT WOULD have been liable.
