Donna i live in Canada and love Kale, this is a great recipe. I juices with kale a lot and love new recipes. Im in Kingsport TN a lot and my U.S friends are getting hooked on kale as well. Thanks for the video.
@szazulyk Thank you for checking it out!! I am growing 3 different kinds of kale this fall. I hope they survive the cold winter and flourish the next spring. There are soooo many different kinds of kale. I can't wait to try some different types.
@SMprepnNancy Oh yes! I love to grow shallots. They are "magical". LOL Put one in the ground and it turns into 5! I grew them a couple of years ago when I lived in Florida, and I just planted some here! I have to say, they are probably one of my most favorite thing to cook with next to garlic of course!
I am eating this as I type! YUMMO! I love it! I am thinking about subbing the cannellini beans for the potatoes in my favorite soup: Olive Garden's sausage and potato soup. I am guessing the cannellini beans are healthier than the potatoes and would be a good substitute. This seems so healthy, but probably not when you eat the WHOLE batch yourself which is what I am doing. :)
@psassy66 I eat it all by myself too! I also make a soup with kale, potatoes, sausage, sweet red peppers and use the same seasonings as this dish but i also add fennel seed...YUMMO!
@dylan14570 Can you believe I made it again tonight!? This time I only ate 2/3 of it. Good for me! Well, that little victory only lasted a few minutes as I quickly consumed some birthday cheesecake the hubs bought for me. It's been hanging around untouched for almost a week b/c mom made me a cake and I made some cherry cordial ice cream. So much for trying to lose a few pounds! :-/
@psassy66 LOL Ha ---cherry cordial ice cream...yumm making me hungry! I love Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcis..FROYO...it is frozen yogurt, so I can eat it w/o feeling guilty. LOL Happy Belated!
Donna, I just made this dish and it's pretty darn good. I didn't have enough kale so I mixed in some Swiss chard. I also added some mushrooms. I'm smiling just thinking of the nutritional goodness.

I log on everyday to see if there is a new video! I love that excited feeling when a new one comes along, I grab a snack and drink and settle down on the couch for a few minutes of FUN!!
@MIgardener Oh..glad I found this comment! My friend in Allyson's Garden video needs a good recipe for chard? help?? because that chicken alfredo chard just sounds like a good combination.
