NJ Transit a few months ago finally just started to assign PL42AC locomotives on the NJCL. NJ Transit also does not use PL42AC locomotives here on a regular basis either and as a result you will NOT know what train will have a PL42AC locomotive on it. I have personally been waiting to get photos and this video for 3 years now.

I've seen plenty of PL42s before. But never on the coast line. I saw one, up near South Amboy about a couple of weeks ago.

Geeze are PL42s rare on the NJCL? I have never seen one on this line.
