  • It's Incredible. I'm originally from Youngstown, and whenever I access the comments section of a YT Youngstown video, there's always at least one but more often multiple comments from white redneck pieces of shit. And you wonder why your town is so fucked up. The place isn't a shithole because of what happened to it in the past, but because of the kracker asses who are still there. All yall white motherfuckers can kiss my shiny black ass. Fuck you all.

  • my dad owned the foodland that was there from 91-93.....had to close it because the fucking neighborhood was stealing us blind....they praised us when we opened a store in the hood, then they showed why nobody can stay in business there......they would rather steal shit than buy anything......fuck this mall, and fuck this area.....

  • I remember going to McGuffey Mall in the 70's and early 80's. There was a library there, bowling alley, a Dollar Bank, and Arthur Treachers. Does anyone remember the Gray's restaurant where you could get three pancakes for like 75 cents?

  • Ya know, I never saw any ghosts in youngstown.....but I sure have seen alot of SPOOKS!

  • @mkultra138 AWESOME!!!!!! So true...

  • @mkultra138 Racists can never spell correctly or use proper grammar. Coincidence? No. You're all idiots.

  • @mkultra138 kelly pavlic

  • This video is really creepy "Just sayin" lol

  • As far as I can remember there was never anything worth going to in that mall. It was alwasy the "ghetto" mall. I remember spending hours there while my mom got her hair done playing frogger. Last time I was in Y-town it's other malls were fine and way better looking than back when I lived there. Especially Eastwood.

  • WAIT THE TOWN IS HAUNTED I HOPE THERE ISNT NOTHIN LIKE THAT OMFG!

I cant wait to move im not gunna no no one that sucks did anyone famouse live there?

  • @04LovinLife its not haunted i live in da yo and its just a place with notin in it real raggedy

  • @04LovinLife several top members of the mafia

  • @superacer1 What does this video have to do with the mafia?

  • This mall is closed im moving to youngstown Ohio in the summer and i was trying to find the name of malls and other attractions to look forward to!

  • @04LovinLife Did you say you are moving TO Youngstown? If so, then you will be the first increase in Youngstown's population in 20 years. lol

  • They finally closed that mall i think.

  • i remember going to the welfare office in the mcguffey mall as a kid. i remember no other stores were open except a wig store or something. some lady sold us some really good chicken nuggets and french fries.

sometimes, looking at pictures of youngstown, of Old America is like looking at some remains of an Ancient Assyrian civilization- long dead, but sometimes you can see the ghosts of other times.

  • fuck niggers

  • hmmmm... bigot much? jerk

  • lol Tha Eastside broke as fucc yo its only jitz and lincoln knowles plaza lolol oh yeah n kp but niggas go to the jordan man by bk for shoes and south ave for gear so this shyt is retarded but um Yeah Youngstown Stand up

  • They need to bulldoze McGuffey plaza down. There is nothing there but K&P. All of the other stores are closed. I am glad that I left Youngstown. I will never, EVER return to that hell-hole again.

  • If you was goin make uh vid about the McGuffey mall you coulda at least went to Tiny's my nigga

  • Man, i havent been there since i was a kid. brings back memories.

  • dang no dont nobody be walkin thru them halls..KnP is like the only store makin money out there...i be out here after sku

  • I fking HATE this music....I want it destroyed!

  • go to the LA LA son

  • I'm 22 years old, and I grew up on Bennington Ave, and I remember my parents and grandparents taking me to the McGuffey Plaza back in the 80's. There was bank, grocery store, chinese restaurant, foot locker, wig shop, post office, and a bowling alley at the end. My aunt told me about J.J. from Good Times coming back in the day. I wouldn't walk through McGuffey Plaza today for anything. It looks too scary!!!!

  • Who the hell uploaded this! lol There is barely anything left in the Macguffey Mall. Well I refer to it as Mcguffey Plaza! lol. Family Dollar is gone, Bulk Food Warehouse is gone (they had the best pizza pockets!) The only thing left is a liquor store! lol Priceless....

  • Well it's no wonder that mall is dying. It has got to be the ugliest, most piss-poorly planned mall EVER!

  • I was born and raised on Berkley Avenue during the 40's and 50's. I had such a wonderful childhood that to this day my dreams are of those special places on the East Side. Home Theater, Berkley Woods, McGuffey Plaza...especially the Isaly's. In my dreams, the places are just as clean and comforting as they were when I was living there. On occasion, I drive by my old haunts and force myself to transcend what I see to what I remember. Such a time lag! But we must face the reality of now. Sad

  • I grew up on Berkley Ave., played in Truscon and Victory playgrounds. Y-town will always have great memories for me. This was the Plaza when I grew up and I can remember going to the 5&10 to buy pop beads, hair accesories and lipstick. One thing no one can take from you is your memories and your education. Thank you Youngstown.

  • You don't ever want to go to the east side-ever, for any reason.

  • I live in ytown and its so horrible,I'm trying 2 move outta here very soon. I'm 23 and I remember when I was 3,4,5 that mcguffey mall had a wig store, arthur treachers, foot locker and a photography studio. Aint shit down there now

  • MALL? what a joke. They closed in the walkway and called it a mall. This plaza was originally built 1953-55. I lived in that neighborhood; The whole city is a cesspool but I don't have to resort to profanity like poetic 1979 with a cesspool of a mouth. Typical Youngstown.

  • When they changed it fron Mcguffey Plaza to Mcguffey Mall Muhammad Ali,JJ from Good Times and Kool and The Gang came to the opening no lie ask somebody ,I grew up on ValleySt. Albert St. Lansing, Oak St. area. I will always have love for the Yo.

  • hahaha! some guy tried to kidnapp my cousin when we were little here...my mom kicked his ass. i love youngstown.

  • this was mcguffey plaza i used to live right across the street on state st down by what used to be a laundry mat many good memories but thats all there is youngstown is off the hook now and not in a good way

  • i use to live on grandview ave.and work at youngstown sheet and tube for 15 years up untill they close.whats happening up that away?my name is spider anybody remmber me?i left up there in 1985.i now live in the mountains of ga.and lovin it!!!

  • yea it was always like dark and smelled funny as hell...lol

  • .thate place was always so fuckin' creepy inside. i used to there when I was a kid

  • Ain't shit there...YOUNGSTOWN SUCKS!! NO JOBS! NO FUTURE! NO NOTHING LEFT...IT IS CURSED!!

  • ain't that the truth. I'm originaly from the north side of Youngstown- A.K.A. "Little Chicago"

  • where was this at..i lived in niles and never saw it!!

  • You can live in Youngstown and never see it. lmao
