  • great job! But you definitely need some punchy Oberheim or Linn drums set to drive the percussion side!!

  • the was really cool!!!!......but you don't show us how to play

  • 2 fly......

  • hey, that awesome

  • what is the chord for the opening of the song and the chord you used when you played the rising synth sound ?

  • cool but i wanted how to play it

  • prety cool but i wanted slow motion (how to play)

  • very cool..but i was waiting for you to add the bass line? one of the best parts!?

  • AWESOME

  • coll edit pro is the program

  • The Karma isn't "too old" actually if you A) understand how to use the Karma Function to drive orchestral samplers, B) cheap sounds seem to be a problem with synthesizers historically, no matter which, which is why producers rely on a key set of sounds: 'pads', just a few programmed combos, etc., programming the rest WITH ALL KEYBOARDS vs. using 'out of the box sounds'. That's programming ability. The Karma is notorious for buttons that wear out really fast ! Grounds for suit/recall years ago.

  • the first ones, from 0:00 til 0:06, what chord are there?

because he has a guiterrist hand, like, hiding the played notes from our eyes

  • Yeah the Korg Karma may be a little old now, but it still packs a punch.

I bought one when they first came about.

    Cool vid BTW.

  • What s the name of the programme you use to mix the music all together?

  • he was a great man no matter wut anyone said

  • in the memory of michael jackson T^T

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAHHHH GREAT DUDE!

  • does anyone knows how to quantize tracks on adobe audition

  • the beggining cords sound like dead and gone by ti n timberlake !

  • i'm speechless.....i loved how you played the individual parts then put it all together at the end

  • not bad!

but, the marimba part is wrong.

i happen to have heard that part when i was an assitnat engineer to a remixer.

that part is cleverly made up of two keyboard parts - on the album mix the are panned hard left, the other hard right (easy for you to identify).

when combined they sound a bit like what you've played but, not quite!

  • ok thanks, that's really helpful - i'll have another listen

  • yea marimba part is definietely wrong. the rhythm is whats wrong

  • figure out how the marimba part goes?

  • I akways thought that was two guitars???

  • wow, that was amazing... first i thought "what the heck is that" but when u put together all the tracks on the computer i said: "wow" ;)

  • What can you use to hook up your keyboard...let's say a Casio CTK 571 (I know it's not the best keyboard) to a computer? and are there any free programs like Adobe Audition?

  • you can probably get free trial versions on the net of stuff like cubase, I'm not sure. Just ask someone who's into computer music (that's what i did) and they'll be able to burn something down for you - i use a mixer , which is then connected to my sound card direct, via a cable to the tape inputs, so i can plug in any keyboard/mic/guitar to the mixer

  • thats hot man!! keep it up. this sounds like a great remix to thriller!!!

  • Great video man. All that was missing was the evil laugh at the end! Did you make that drum beat on the Karma as well?

  • Nah, I think it was a free sample from Computer music or Future music magazine - can't remember which.

  • You should play billie jean

  • what kind of electric piano is that ?

  • it's a korg karma synth (kind of like a triton) - it has about 500 different in built sounds

  • can you make a video where you do the part from :28 - :44 slower?

  • you are sex?

  • Hey man you are a pro! What version of Adobe Audition is that?

  • er 1.5 i think - not the newer one - thanks for the comment

  • Wow awesome! Nice sounds and you've made me realise I was using the wrong chord at one point...cheers, I wondered why i couldn't get it to sound right at that point lol!

  • Beast of a song!
