  • wow a heartbeat sensor... this is so useful. i'm gonna check periodically my key fob to see if there is anyone in my car lol. Saab FTW !

  • I wanna buy a Volvo, but were I live, in Romania, u ain't cool if u don't own a Bmw, Merc or Audi.

  • Saab 95 ftw

  • i would definitely choose this over a 5 series, e class or a6..best looking for me, not as show off as german cars and more comfy, also i can have a naturally aspirated v8 instead of turbos

  • from my experience, volvos are great. I have an 06 XC70 with about 100k. No problems at all. very comfortable, plenty of power, very reliable. i never hear complaints about volvos, so for those who are having problems, sorry, but i seriously think it is something beyond the way it was built. take care of these and they will always take care of you. Recently did 10 hour drive to VA + about 20 hours worth of drving while down there and drove back without the slightest issue with the car

  • torque steer king!

  • One of my favorite cars... SHe looks amazing in my opinion

  • 7 series/S-Class car for 3 series/C-Class money!!!

  • Fabulous car! Also looks so much better than its competitors.

  • I drive the V8 with the sports package and I love this car. I am having it race tuned to boost HP and performance but this car turns heads as it is.

  • @madfacemedia get an STS turbo - more power, money

  • @ChocolatePoop1301 I assume you mean I should get an STS Turbo kit for my 4.4 liter V8 - and yes.. that would be pretty sic.

  • gettin the s80 t6 its a 2000 for 4000$ gonna have it checked out 2morrow to make sure theres nothin wrong with it =)

  • this very good really. volvo= mercedes= jaguar= bmw= audi= quality

  • My girlfriend's FIRST car was a 2000 Volvo S80 that she paid $10,000 in 2008. WHAT A MONEY-PIT VOLVO'S ARE!!! The high-price means high-reliability. These cars suck! The engine compartment is extremely cramped even in a non-turbo. To get a single part you need to take 4 other things out. They break down constantly and the parts are extremely expensive. My Girlfriend has replaced Transmission $3,500. Alternator $800. Axel shaft $700. ABS module $700. O2 Sensor $400. All within 16,000 miles.

  • @mrjustin5: either the car was broken in first place, or... or your your girlfriend simply doesn't know how to drive

  • @mrjustin5 yeah i got a 2002 volvo s80 for $6k. It works perfectly. So either you got a screwed up car or your girlfriend doesnt know how to drive.

  • @mrjustin5 Nuthin wrong with mine.!

And it still goes like stink...

    ...most all of the time.

    Regular England - Scotland cruising 10k no-worry miles p.a.

    SALTO

  • @mrjustin5 A few things:dont generalize a brand off one car-thats annoying. volvo makes good transmissions-either this was messed up before, or no one was smart enough to check the fluids b4. car was 8 years old-think about it.you need to do more than put gas in. alternator is routine. axel shaft-rough driving or crash. 02-common in all cars. ABS mod (sm comp chip)-crash damage, high temp, many other ways. lack of space=specific design engine-not tiny 4cyl. not hard to fix if u know wat ur doing

  • this is why i love Volvo, they have a unique and different approach to everything.. Love Volvo, Love Scandinavian flair...

  • I'm sure that you all know that the chinese automaker Geely bought Volvo recently. People, don't freak out Volvo will still be made in Sweden and in Belgium and have its own board of directors so it will be Volvo's own thinking. And Geely will only be reciving parts and technologes from Volvo, not the other way around.

  • Fuck Kelly Blue Book!

  • car is good, the video quality is traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash! Kelly Blue Book is trash...upload in better quality...then I will review it again...now only 1 star.

  • If you tuned the V8, how much power could we expect from it? How about the T6?

  • The v8 engine has 315hp and the t6 engine has 285hp

  • @MrEscape7 I know how much power they have, I wanted to know how much power we could get out of it if we tuned the engine.

  • the interior is amazing.

  • Yay! Volvo's sister is saved! Yesterday night Saab was bought by Spyker! Consider a Saab too, now that is free from the idiots at GM

  • Hooray!

  • now that is free from the idiots at GM .....Ha Ha Ha Ha....that's great, you are right

  • everything about this car seems perfect except for its wide turning circle

  • Man... I have a 98' Volvo S70 (which was bought the same year). The only real problem I had was the airconditioning. Other than that, It's been working just like new for those wonderful 11 years. I wouldn't trade my Volvo for any car(unless for another volvo and an Austin Martin) just because of the great expirience I have had. An example was an accident I was involved. A truck ran over me and the only thing we had to do was change the hood and the grill. Those cars are really good and tough.

  • @razgriz04

does this ride smooth? i've only sat in it in the showroom. lol. very nice interior, remarkable seats

  • @libetta

Sorry man. It doesn't ride smooth at all. My girlfriend's Mitsubishi Lancer rides a lot smoother than that. If I accelerate it to about 70 MPH, it feels like a rocketship [most of this due to really bad roads, but that doesnt happen on the BMW 530i my dad has ;)] LOL. But they do have a really nice and confy interior. =)

  • lol a mitsubishi lancer, that's an overstatement i could argue with you though if it's a midsize sedan such as a camry et al. could it be the lack of engine power that makes it feel like a "rocketship"?

  • @razgriz04 it rides smooth if you dont get the optional sport package

  • WOW... that's nice info. I though that the sport package was supposed to make it smoother. Ironic. LOL. But thanx again for the info. Maybe that's why mine isn't smooth at all. I was also thinking maybe it could be that it's a really heavy car. It's weight takes a toll on the shock absorbers and with really bad roads on the list, shock absorbers don't do much.

  • @razgriz04 Yeah im planning to get an S80 in the next year or two so I've been looking into the different options. Apparantly the comfort chassis is a no cost option. Im sure the weight of the car also has an effect. Those volvos sure are weighty! Thats the price you pay for all that refinement and safety!

  • since when does new jersey have palm trees

  • where's the usual narrator???

  • my family own this car and people watch it every day because it looks so gooood

  • look like Limousine

  • how does it feel ro ride in it? i want a car that keeps the passengers comfortable through long drives. and hows the fuel economy?

  • it feels very smooth and soft.

the fuel economy is pretty good our engine is 2.5 turbo.

  • if wanted is it possible to replace the stereo? i don't really like the navi volvo offers.

  • sure but the high performance or the premium stereo package are amazing

  • @deltasworder1x Like all Volvos It is way way more comfortable than any Merc, Audi, or BMW. much smoother ride too.

  • @AdrianC12345 I agree, The interior materials seems to be much better too

  • @vika01

yes but you live in sweden

  • @vika01 I believe you HA ha

  • @hunter911wetpaint Now we own a Jaguar XF. It looks so much better.

  • dude the style is awesome

  • who care.... if u like volvo just buy, if u dont like...dont buy. I had 2 volvo, iäm very satisfied. no complain for volvo.

  • A superb sedan that's extremely under-rated. Beatufiul interior with the champagne!

  • interesting features...

  • better than the BMW 5 series!

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj anything is

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj stfu stupid ass bimmer is the best

  • @MrGermancarlover beemers r for spoiled gay drivers that cant really drive

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj wow ur an idiot plain and simple cuz last i checked 90% of all consumer review editor drives BMW not shitty volvo Sie sind wie ein Idiot :)

  • @MrGermancarlover idiot answer, and where is your source???

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj ur mom is my source WTF dude of course its consumer reports

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj that's your opinion bitch...

  • @Stig140 well i didnt ask for your reply ass hole!

  • @djkasdjkasdjdjdj shut your ass up fucking piece of shit

  • Oh, absolutely beautiful! It truly is.

  • so far its resale value has been strong. I have been looking for an 07 and prices are in line with the 5 series of the same year.

  • this review is only redeemed by the model. Perhaps instead of a voice-over narrative, the presenter could actually offer a review instead of reading keynotes from a Volvo press release!

  • lol...auxiliary...not auxiliurly... :P lol
