3.5l are not hemi's and they are HO high output engines, puting exhausts on there and air intakes wont add much if any power, this car looks and sounds great though, and the 3.5l are good cars but not that fast....

I have been running the Flowmaster 44s with 2.5" pipe and an "X" pipe for a while now and I always get compliments on how my "6" sounds.... ;)

For those quoting the HP numbers, the 250 hp rating is at the crank......we're lucky if we are seeing 190-ish hp to the wheels. Add larger wheels and the power goes down. I was running a Modern Muscle 10 PSI S/C kit with Meth injection and JBA Shortie headers and was dyno'd at 340 RWHP running 20" Boss wheels. So I was sitting around 400 crank HP.

i got a 4.7l baby V8 with a super 44 and i know a guy with a 4.3l V6 who's exhaust sounds more truck then mine does. idk man i think if you have the right V6 then it'll sound good. This is the right v6...larger sized v6's like 3.5l+ sounds good you know? with the right things doen i guess any v6 can sound good. not as bad as those annoying 4 bangers with fart cans. V6's can have some repsect. they pack some good power, more efficient and sound pretty decent. But then again you just can beat a V8

That sounds great for a v6! Did you put the mufflers under the car or in the back??

Some of those cars don't have a heat sheild by the gas tank on drivers side and may pose a problem with the heat off the muffler. To answer some questions, it is possible for mufflers/exhaust to help with gas mileage but just a little. Power may be up a hair but only seen on a dyno. High flow is good, but too much flow may actually hurt performance! X-pipe is a great idea for v6's(takes away the "TUG BOAT" sound

No dude mufflers are just exaust, they are holes that let the fumes that come from the engine escape. So no they dont

actually, installing a less restrictive muffler would increase gas milage (but the degree would be so small you'd never notice it). The freer-flowing the exhaust system, the less the engine has to work to push away spent gasses (this is why sports exhaust systems increase horse power)

No idea, sorry. talk to your local mechanic/exhaust specialist, they should know what system would best for you. But NB, as i said before, you won't really notice any difference in MPG with a new exhaust system
