thank god dre didn't use this reference track for 2001. This song is more lyrical than any of the tracks that were on 2001. And if Dre did, the listener would so tell it's not him. I don't even see Dre saying half the things Royce wrote :( Hot Track regardless!

Well, acoustic quality aside, this is lyrically better than MOST ANYTHING I've EVER heard from Dr. Dre.  2001 was obviously a classic, but a mastered version of "The Throne Is Mine" would've fit right in, IMO.

Dre does have ghostwriters, but he still does write his own stuff still, but he needs to do it all.....but he is a great producer no doubt.

You're WILIN', this track is tight, but I prefer Royce rapping over Dr. Dre, especially nowadays (back in the early 90's it was relatively more entertaining).
