    Just purchased Singapore Math 3A and 3B today.

  • this is good way to think about this but it does have its drawbacks with negative numbers now imagine this a student thinks about marbles then he hears of a number like -20

    how will he/she think about -20 marbles in a can? kinda defies logic,(just some food for thought and perhaps not related to the syllabus ur teaching)

  • @gocaca How about having to owe 20 marbles from a can to someone?
