Basically if you find Hi-C "Shoutin' Orange Tangerine", it's the same exact thing as "Ecto Cooler" but instead of being green it is instead that clear-ish type color that the rest of the Hi-C's are now. Still though, I miss the original Ecto-Cooler. Do a Google search for "the ecto cooler bible" and it's the first one.

The story goes much deeper than that. Ecto Cooler was discontinued. But they came out with another flavor named Shoutin Orange Tangergreen that contained virtually all the same ingredients. In 2006, they changed the drink name to Crazy Citrus Cooler, then finally discontinued the entire drink recipe in 2007.

Per Wikipedia Ectocooler was made in 87 as a tie in to the cartoon series... Slimer left the box around 97 but the name was kept until 2001 when it was renamed Shoutin' Orange Tangerine. In 2006 Shoutin' Orange Tangerine was renamed Crazy Citrus Cooler and in 2007 Crazy Citrus Cooler was discontinued. The formula to make it is no longer made!
