Anyone who plays guitar knows that hetfield is an incredible downpicker and rythm guitars and his vocals particularly early on were superior to mustaine's and mustaine sounds like shit in concert whereas hetfield always sounded better then the album. I like them both you cant pick one as the clear best unless you just say metallica's album sales make them the best. Master of Puppets is the greatest metal song of all time, there it is.

I don't know where you got the idea that I didn't like Metallica from, I own every album up to Metallica, You're about 92 but yet later on in his career he took a shot at Mustaine for having a "nasally voice" etc. He shouldn't talk if he doesn't want to be criticized as well.

Is it just me, or does Mustaine sound like he isn't even trying to sing to his potential in like.. 99% of his live gigs?

For example, when he says 'Thank you, we love you all" etc, his distinct Megadave snarl comes through, and I'm just here asking myself 'Where the fuck was that during the song, and everything else!?"
