I can say when you down load SQ Editor and change the valuue from 1 to 0, Verizon thinks you are wired thered which is free for us....Also if you are grandfather in to the UNLIMITED data usage that is great :)

hey got a question i have the droid bionic i did what you said for the tether hot spot and it worked for a week now today i tryed it it worked only for 1 min then keep disconnecting me and when it does connect me it says its limited internet and cannot connect what happened do you know?
@zedomax Probably. But just going off what they say. However, I didn't say that you were "untraceable." PDAnet says they can hide it, not remove it. Like I said, I wasn't sure if it was true or not. Thanks for the update on that. Great vids btw.
oh, the ATRIX has the same tethering hack as the Bionic. You could totally mess with the trolls and make another video but with a different phone. lol

DB Browser users
1. Download DB Browser of android market
2. Open DB Browser and click "search DB", leave the search blank
3. there are 2 "settings.db. Choose the one that has "com.motorola.android.providers.settings" in it.
4. click "explore data base"
5. click "tables", and then click "settings", and then "see data"
6. Scroll down to rows 147 entitlement check, and 148 usb_entitlment check
7. highlight each row, and hit the settings button and select "edit row"
8. Change each row "Value" to 0
