@MrSham3less To go to BIOS, start your computer. Then, just as your computer is starting, press the "delete" key *BEFORE* your computer boots (you might have to press "delete" a few times). This will take you to BIOS. If you see Windows load on your monitor, you pressed the "delete" key too late. Restart your computer and try again.

I have a very very big problem. Every time i startup my PC it showes me BSOD......

even the safe mode doesnt work. The only solution is maybe the re-installation of Windows Xp but if i set the cd as the first device to boot, it wont work because the cd drive is to slow! Please help!

damn i set a password on cmos then i changed it to a blank pass and it says it is disabled. then when i try to go back its got the password. blank does not work and i try my old password does not work either. + i cannot boot becuse i got error loading operating system.

i upgraded my cd drive to a dvd drive but after that i cant boot to a dvd..in the bios in boot priority its a cd-r not a dvd-r .

the dvd is working and i can watch a movie...

and my windows installation dvd is iso image

im using usb keyboard ...

when i boot up then install xp it formats then restarts and does the same it wont install all xp

Try cleaning all your hardware inside the PC case (RAM etc) & changing your IDE or Hard Drive ribbons.

Check all cables & RAM memory are seated properly, in fact take out & re-seat all.

If you have a different Hard Drive or RAM memory try that also.

If you can get to the SECOND repair XP screen during reinstallation then try that as well.

The second is empty and clean. i just installed a new MB and the new primary drive boots Windows, but now I nowwant to so a clean new install of WXP on second drive and transfer all data from primary to second drive. will it transfer the OS along with the data to the second drive? or just the data?. can u give me some tips?
