Minecraft just got 1000 times better! Gosh, I'm loving the new geographical features, scpecially the bigger biomes (YES!), rivers (YES!), villages (BURN EM DOWN!), mines (WOOD UNDERGROUND!) and swamps (THEY'RE PRETTY GOOD). I don't like the ravines that much. But it's awesome to see some differentiation going on here. Minecraft was getting a bit repetitive, but when the official update hits, I'll play till the cows come home!

For Man VS Minecraft Season 3, you should roleplay gathering resources, and Pablo (Who you RP as), falls into a ravine, with resources like saplings, etc, and you must try to get out of it. Of course, that'd not be the whole season, maybe an ep or 2.

i got 1.8 but for some odd reason it didnt have the food bar or exp bar guis registering, i downloaded the john smith 1.8 texture pack to fix this:)

just a helpful tip for those who have the same issue

I think the critical hit while falling thing only works for swords. You don't need to jump when using the bow. Critical hits have a chance to work with the bow when you pull back all the way.

I think normal pigmen are neutral, so if you provoke them they'll attack you. The thing is, when they come out, I think they are the creatures that will live in NPC Villages. It's just a rumor, but definitely seems like it could be true, don't you think Paul?

The thing I REALLY want from Minecraft, plain and simple, is just so I can use my Xbox Controller for the controls using the button mapping. That would be sooo nice. I wouldn't mind all the bugs really.

A lot of the time there's a water spring coming out of the sides, so if you can aim your jump well, you can get down no problem. I do it all the time. Although getting up requires a little bit of dirt.

(But don't try it with lava. That one didn't end so well.)

How much extra damage does a crit deal? Is it the standard double, or is it something else. Because it would be cool if you could kill a creeper in one hit with a diamond sword.

Raw food doesn't actually hurt you, but it SHOULD since it can be hazardous for your health.

Also, you can collect leaves by hitting them with shears, so it makes sense that you'd do the same with vines.

Hey, I thought that a critical hit doubles damage.  A diamond sword does 5.5 hearts of damage, so why doesn't a critical hit with a diamond sword kill skeletons with one hit?

@Hammergunshipping I think because the first one was not a crit and the second one was. Diamond sword normally takes two hits. :)
