@XoLiz82307 Isn't it funny ? Its what: $120.00 to fill a gas tank,? 12 -15 bucks a pound for steak ... in the big scheme of things "12's nothing" ... heck, "20's nothing" ! (when ya put it into context). Your like I am, "it's fun to dream" ! Please take care. :-)
my mother got her first brand new car in 1978 it was the new model year monte carlos i believe with a 305 or 350ic v8 with a 4bbl they drove that car for many years is was a great car and in the eraly 80s my grand father when and got a new buick so he gave my father him 1968 chevelle it was a silver or grey with a 307ic v8 that car i loved and alway hoped to have as my first car but was sold a few years before i got my lic
where can you find parts for these? like weather striping, trunk lid, (((vinyl))),rear left tail light? I have a 1976 Monte Carlo Landau all original 2nd owner, still runs, drives rough.
@666sir666 That's a tough call ... Their not that abundant for some reason. Depending on the part you need ... have a salvage yard put your need "out on the wire". ??? Good luck.
I had two of the 77 model Landau's within the last 10 years. Big, slow, bulky and clanky, but they sure are pretty. I had small button Corvette rallies with white letter tires 275/60/15 rear and 235/70/15 front on them both. Made good money on both.

@jebxbouck94 Thankyou for all whom replied to add for Monte Carlo for sale. The price is 12,000.00 NOT 1200. *Their is no room in this box, (on Craiglist) and I'm sure when you read: "even 12 (12000.00) won't buy a Chevy Aveo) "you understood this" ?. I put a comma behind the "1200" which is all that I can do.
My mother had a '77 Monte Carlo in jet black with a blood red vinyl interior while I was growing up in the '80s. That Monte Carlo was the car that started my love for cars, from the gentle rumble of the duel exhaust, down to the blue/green dash lamps. Looking at that dash board brings back so many memories. Thank you for sharing what a real automobile is with us.
I got your messages. I am new at the computer and am not good with e-mail yet. I have some photos of my 1977 Monte Carlo and will try to figure out how to get them out. I should do a video like you did and put it on You Tube. I am in Eastern North Dakota and the snow has just gone, now we are in flood mode. I want to get people to see my car too. Still like the Robin egg Blue.
My first car was a bright red 77 with the full white vinyl top. I got it in 1991 and miss it much. Last summer I found one very similar to my original 77 and bought it. This one I have now has just under 70,000 miles and I listened to the guy I bought it from for thirty minutes about how he kept the windshield wipers original. Yours is exceptionally nice I've never seen one in that color.
these are easily among the best looking cars ever made, they have that destinctive uniquely american look, big boxy body style yet elegant and dynamic looking, i just love cars from that era, greetings from germany.
Nice...now a set of magnum 500's for it and its ready to roll. I had a '73...a '75 and a '77. the '77 was by far the best! Kinda medium blue color. Loved it. Paid $4200 for it with centerlines and a killer stereo back in 1081
great looking car... had one but wasnt near the shape your car is... atleast not with out a lot of tlc... but when it was done it looked alot like yours but it was metallic skyblue... very nice cars
I had a '74 Monte, last year made for leaded gas.. but no where near as pristine, and I do mean pristine as that looks Tommy !!! WOW that is flippin sweet... That's an American dream my friend... Good luck with it bud...
