is there any method to play snes, nes or any other emulator on xbox 360 without moding the console or changing its software? i am realy interested in an answer although i doubt the answer will be yes.

@kght222 Are Super Mario World and Mario Kart they only games available for this thing. Seems like damn near every video I've seen on You Tube for JTAG'd Xbox 360's running the SNES360 only show those 2 games. There are so many better titles on the SNES, I'm thinkin' of doing this to my system for Neo Geo, TG-16, Dreamcast, Genesis, and classic Arcade game emulators like MAME but what's the point if all it can do is this shit?

@kght222 One reply is better than none. Mod your system & play games for free. I only spent $30 to have it flashed to play copies. The fake sites online that claim you can play emulators or back-up copies without flashing or modding your system are all scams and torrents are full of viruses and ads that screw up your computer. Join a newsgroup, get a news reader and use NZBMatrix. They have any & everything you want on there. One of the best investments I've ever made in my life.

PLEASE make a vid on getting Linux on the 360. I have ubuntu on my ps3, so I'm not totally new to Linux. But a video tutorial like downgrading your xbox, installing that cygnos 360 chip to have both the old and new xbox kernels, flashing the dvd drive, etc. would be a tremendous help, and probably would help expand the small free60 community.

Anyway, awesome vid. Seen the new progress with xbmc for the 360? Looks good.

the cygnos chip won't really help, you still can't play anything newer than a certain point on it or you will have to update it and overwrite the bootloader.

yeah, you're right. i did a little bit more reading on it, and sure enough, the new update will overwrite the bootloader on both the cygnos chip and the xbox360.
