Really the best I can be is not good enough for anyone. The Bible says even on our "best" day, we're as much as sinners as ANYONE else. All sin is equal, calling your little brother a name is just as sinful as killing and raping someone in cold blood. Realizing this and how we really can NEVER match up to ANYTHING God wants us to be just shows me how much we NEED a savior.

Anyways, I see the point the song is trying to make. If we ask for God to reign through us, then we truly live for Him:)
