I am a conservative. This guy makes an excellent point. However, you don't see the United States creating an American Culture building at Hiroshima or Nagasaki.I mean I agree with you 100% and I quite frankly don't care if they build a mosque their or not and do not blame this on conservatives. Blame it on the stupid and ignorant Republican leaders (*cough* palin) but the staus quo right now is set so that negative past events dictate how we function today.
Dude, where do you live? Research Dearborn MI. Get a clue PLEASE. No wonder you have no rateings. You are wasteing the air in this grest counrty. Pack your bags & try a muslum state. Go live in Iran. You don't deserve the freedoms my forefathers fought for. You all at tyt make me sick. You won't last long. You're opinionated, boreing and just plain STUPID. REALLY REALLY STUPID. Oh yeah, JEALOUS of any one with a spine. A matter you know nothing of. Spineless zombies.
@JonJahren O yeah so how would you think the reaction of the Japanese if we build a science dome or even a US embassy in hiroshima or nagasaki....or in Nam? they'll be grudging u for decades even if it is unnoticeable..GET REAL!!
and the non Liberal non Conservative American says
Who gives a shit, it's twitter. If she was speaking out into a huge crowd then it would something to talk about. I do think she's trying to use big words to make herself sound intelligent but it's twitter, who gives a shit, and this guy is the liberal version of Glenn Beck
@dclaver2 well, this woman is running or thinking of running for president of these here united states... doesn't it concern you.. scares the crap out of me..
Whenever anybody says YES, you say NO. When they say HI, you say LOW. You are the perfect Palin Pal, because just like the Housewife from up north, the only thing you're sure of that you DISAGREE with and desperately OPPOSE everything that makes sense.
What else is new in La La Land, your favorite place on this or any planet?
Palin is fading into oblivion, and her followers are right behind her to the bitter end. Hilarious!
Freedom of religion my ass. There has to be a limit. Maybe no religions less than 1000years old. Build mosques synagogue whatever but say no to scientology folks
I just have to say that's quite wrong- Scientology makes no sense, true, it is a cult, true... but the gov't doing anonymous investigations with secret service members that ARE NOT IDENTIFIED joining it and acting the part for a while would surely create the same effect and not remove rational belief systems from the fold- Athiesm is relatively new in terms of popularity (like scientology in that one respect) Wicca is a more easy to understand version of a much older faith.
@BizaroMustard100 And- AND- both are things that have emerged after the last thousand years. This would also of course prevent me from believing in anything unique to myself or discussing those beliefs... which I consider core to my philosophy regarding religion- it is something to be experienced, not shared.
She's not going to run for president she doesn't have the competence. So stop bashing her. And refudiate? Really... She also misspelled please... Holy shit it's twitter. It's not like shes writing book
I cant believe that after 2yrs of OBAMA hell, you guys are still critizing the EX "vice presidential" candidate. There is plenty of space in the great wide web to start putting the blame on the one that you actually put in the captains seat...as we are all going down a burning plane.
@XaviersChase Oh come on, Obama is doing well in general, he's picking up the mess Bush made. You think he should keep up, learn who is president, and without hesitation blame him for everything? Obama is no hero, he's just a man, you can't expect anyone to fix it all when it was that fucked up, but he's doing quite good, and you're just too stubborn to face that.
@greenpeacemyass Did you watch his recent speech on Pakistan? If he is going to succeed his last two years in office he needs to surround himself with some better advisors because he 'royally' screwing with our safety in the Middle East. I haven' read today's news but if I were Isreal, I'd cancel todays meeting with Obama.
@XaviersChase Well, yes, he's conforming to fit the title lol. Compared to other presidents, or politicians per se, generally he's doing well. Compared to what people expected of him, he's shit, but that's just unfair.
The case is, if you watched other videos from tyt's that they constantly make things up, lie and exaggerate for their own political gains. This is an entertainment clip. Try not to take it out of context.
@Rapidfire143 I think the case is she's stupid. Unable to speak her own language, worse than that.. she's not even responsible enough to make sure what she's writing is correct even knowing the world is going to see it, worse than that, she celebrates her stupidity like is nothing serious, worse than that she dares to run for politics. Someone must point out these things and for some of us she's just unbelievable hence the reaction. My apologies if I made a mistake. English is my second language
@incompleteinsanity case and point... looking at Obama, clearly a harvard education has no effect on political competence. Just because he read every book about why socialism works, doesn't mean it actually does. Palin has experience, why does she get berated for having Alaskan mannerisms. Choice of politicians has degraded down to a beauty pageant.. and unfortunately the slyest, those with the least integrity know how to win...
In an official release, the New Oxford American Dictionary explained, "From a strictly lexical interpretation of the different contexts in which Palin has used 'refudiate', we have concluded that neither 'refute' nor 'repudiate' seems consistently precise, and that 'refudiate' more or less stands on its own, suggesting a general sense of 'reject'."
And what has the Young Jerk brought us? Only stupidity.
i gotta be honest. whilst i agree with freedom of religion and everything. if i was a newyorker. and i lived through 9/11. i wouldnt want a mosque anywhere on that whole island
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
If I could interview her, I would challenge her to a "friendly" game of Tic-Tac-Toe. Not only would I bet that she doesn't know that the game is solved, but the average intelligent person would beat her at it...with no training, on national TV. Oh how I wish it would happen.
What the heck are you talking about. You are not wise enough to be the critic of all conservatives as if they are non-recoverable idiots. You are enjoying your youthfull liberalism but be carefull. You will have to splain this all away when you are a 50 year old conservative. Best of luck to all of you Young Turks as you become better informed and realise you have been led down a very dangerous path.
@jimnielsen58 You're saying that people 'smarten up' and become conservatives when they get older, and that all liberals are naive and going down a dangerous path? This is the problem with the 2-party system. It creates black and white ideologies, when reality is never that simple. There are naive liberals and conservatives, there are wise liberals and conservatives. I wish more people would acknowledge these complexities when they make their arguments.
Alright then you go to Saudi Arabia and try and build a huge church in the middle of one of their cities, put a gym in it, and a community centre, I'm sure you wouldn't face any opposition.
@onlypolar Exactly, thats why people use a democratic process to opose things, they are just jealous because they live in a dusty shithole so they start getting violent, if they want to have a who is best at killing people competition we would win, so lets fuckin go right now.
@mattycbase But that's what's supposed to make life for the average person better in America than in Saudi Arabia -- America is supposed to be tolerant of other religions, opinions, etc., as long as they do not harm others. When I hear opposition to this mosque, I worry about the inability of some groups to distinguish between violent terrorists and regular, peaceful, Muslim Americans which have absolutely nothing to do with terrorism.
@SeanHG33 I don't differentiate, out of respect they should never have even considered this action. When that guy burned the Qu'uran Muslims around the world killed people, when Salman Rushdie wrote The Satanic verses many people involved with the book were killed, when people drew Muhammad many people were killed, when Bin Laden flew plains into the twin towers no muslim gave 2 fucks. Also I don't agree there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim, I mean why not just call it a half assed muslim?
@mattycbase Yes, those are the radical, violent Muslim groups. There are also radical, violent Christian groups. But do the violent Christians represent all Christians? Of course not. Just as there are millions of peaceful Christians, there are millions of peaceful Muslims living in America, and they have nothing to do with the violent ones. Judge people by how THEY act, not by how the worst in their society act.
@SeanHG33 You obviously haven't understood, the non violent Muslims never said anything about 9/11 or the murder of those people due to the burning of the Qu'uran, hardly any Muslim gave condemnation, whereas every single one of them was up in arms about people drawing Muhammad and such, therefore I believe that they support the actions of terrorists, and I am right to, for as it is written in the Qu'uran "Kill the infidel wherever you can find him and however you can." That is their religion.
@mattycbase The vast majority took *non-violent* offence to the cartoons. You don't hear non-violent Muslims speaking out against 9/11 in the media because the media doesn't focus on them. Why would the millions of Muslims trying to live peacefully in the US be happy about the 9/11 attacks, which fuelled hatred towards their entire culture and just makes their lives harder?
@SeanHG33 You can't blame the media either, because there is an internet, they support the attacks, you may not like it, but it is like that actually, I grew up in a muslim area, and we are cool I have friends who are muslim, but I also know them, and the fact is if they could force their religion on us ie if they had the power we have and roles were reversed they would, I also know that whilst we are cool, if the lines were drawn tomorrow theyd be on the opposite side.
@mattycbase So you think you have gathered enough accurate information to say that most of the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world support the attacks. My point was that it's always far more complicated than these blanket statements, and the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world are just as diverse in opinion as the rest of the 5, 6 billion people on the planet. I'd be happy to settle with this -- that neither of us really knows enough about the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world to make any assertions.
@SeanHG33 Can't disagree with you there, but I do know there are far more protests and condemnation by the 1-2 billion muslims in the world of wars and people drawing Muhammad and people burning books, than there are protests and condemnation of the actions of Alqaeda and other extremist groups, if you really want to see an excellent example of this point being made search for the video No Muslim outrage, I think that guy points out the situation perfectly....
@SeanHG33 also forgetting the innocent Muslims, take note of all the things the muslim extremists are doing around the world, funny how it is muslims in particular that are doing these things. I don't differentiate between them, you know one of the biggest mosqies in my country attended by thousands of people in London was a centre for Abu Hamza who preached hate, and not one bit of condemnation by the whole fuckin lot of the so called innocents who listened to him.
@mattycbase Yes, some verses in the Qu'uran are terrible, same with the Bible. Do all Christians want to kill anyone that works on Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-36)? Of course not, because most Christians are regular, sensible people, just as most Muslims are. Do the radical Christians in the world have anything to do with the regular, average Christian? No. So why do all Muslims get lumped into one group? We should be allying with peaceful Muslims to condemn the violent ones.
@SeanHG33 Again you seem to have missed the point. If there is a war, or someone draws Muhammad, or someone is burning a book, then the peaceful muslims come out and say something, they make a big noise, but when theres terrorism they don't make any condemnation, or hardly any when compared to the minor things they find offensive. We would ally with them, but they don't want that, every other religion integrates with its host nation and we are all cool, whereas Muslims segregate themselves
Sarah Palin is an intellectual train wreck. The woman can not compete with 5th graders in an academic challenge. To defend this pathetic excuse for a scholar and present her as "qualified to be president" is an insult to the American People.
Yes, George W. Bush was our first retarded president. Let's not have another one like that anytime soon.
The problem with you right wingers is that nothing is ever your fault, and you stubbornly keep on riding a dead horse, force feeding it carrots.
@zerogullibility please dont say sarah palin and "intellectual " in the same sentence. i was trying to eat my breakfast. now i have a lap full of oatmeal
@zerogullibility I'd hate to come across as belligerent but Bush attended Yale and then later received his MBA from Harvard. And based off of how active you on YouTube I'd imagine you haven't attended an institution of similar merit. So what gives you the ability to judge him as a retard when you haven't accomplished the same yourself? I'm not sure as to how a retard could attain said positions or survive the toughest academic institutions in the world.
@Breenguy And Bush is STILL retarded. So is Palin.
You won't "argue away" the ignorance and the repulsive narcissism.
You can't build an atom bomb with gun powder. Bush and Palin are less than gun powder stock. They come from pure backwoods, cow paddy infested dirt. An idiot is an idiot is an idiot.
@schlummieleinchen I'm not sure how I'm arguing away any of his qualities. I was just listing his merits and how you most likely have not even come close to accomplishing anything in line with what he has. And I'm almost certain Bush grew up on a richer estate than you did so if that's 'pure backwoods' the term no longer holds meaning. On what basis are you certain he is retarded? I'm not here to argue but don't apply labels to people you've obviously misjudged.
@Breenguy dude the man was a retard plain and simple.. kinda of charming, in that good ole boy way, but still very mentally challenged.. as for yale and harvard, maybe they have a special ed kind of program for rich kids whose parents have political aspirations..
@Breenguy George W Bush has never let his grades become public record for a reason, the only reason he managed to get an MBA is his father was head of the C.I.A. at the time. He is the worst President in the history of the U.S. and his policies and wars have resulted in around 8 trillion in debt. He may not technically be retarded but he plays the part very well.(he plays a retard better than Hoffman in Rainman.)
@zerogullibility Enough of the calling Bush a retard, please. You may not have agreed with is policies, but you're not anywhere near as smart as him, I'm sorry you're really not. I know comedians made Bush jokes into the jokes that stupid people laugh at, but that doesn't mean you need to continue spreading them. Did you go to Yale and Harvard? No, I doubt it. You just think you're incredibly clever and it helps your ego to assume you're smarter than a president. Lol to you, sir.
@Vyna80 Do they offer ENGLISH at your home school? You write like a 4th grade drop-out, yet dare to discuss George W. Bush's (elusive) intellect. If you want the subject of "retardation" dropped, stop drawing attention to it, and to the fact that the far right clearly favors ignorance over genius.
@mdmusil You're a pretty funny guy, you can't come up with a real argument so you go on the offensive. I'm really not concerned with what the far right does, I'm not with them and neither is George Bush or any president, for that matter. You may not have figured this out, but the ENTIRE country needs to elect someone to be president, so they have to be pretty mainstream. But I'm really curious, in what way do I write like a "4th grade drop-out"? Do they have those where you live?
@Vyna80 lol bush wasn't what you would call clever, but puppets don't need to be :), as for the election of the inbred one, the election was so rigged it was a joke, the supreme court elected him. i would like to reply to your comment about attending harvard or yale and add that one doesn't have to of attended one of them schools to be intelligent, its like oxford of cambridge here, most are just wealthy not clever.
First of all, the mosque is financed by saudiarabia, second, what the hell are the people behind the mosque thinking when they even suggest this thing???? dont they have any common sense or are they really that stupid?
@UsAgainsTeWorld wait--isn't Saudi Arabia our ally? Didn't they host our soldiers & pay for the Gulf War? So why are you ragging on this particular bunch of hanky-heads? What did they ever do to you, except sell you gasoline?
....oh yeah, every single Muslim in the US is going to try to bomb random buildings all around the country now *sarcasm* I mean really, who ever allowed Sarah Palin to start speaking to the public in the first place? She's an idiot. and lmao to Cenk " we should 'refudiate' her"
HAHAHAHAHA lol i think if Palin and McCain got in to the white house i might very well have moved to canada not because of McCain but if some thing did happend to McCain that forced him to give up office our country i think would becaome a huge mess!!!!! nice job on the video
Stop targeting NON-FREAKS with your lies told in the Name of God! STOP terrorizing peace loving people and demanding needless sacrifices that you yourself would never want to be asked. STOP being the exact opposite of what Jesus taught.
STOP nailing Chrsit to the cross over and over again. STOP being PHARISEES parading as saints.
YOU are the problem.
The problem with being gay is that there is no problem. You are born gay or straight. Being a hate obsessed jerk was your CHOICE!
I wonder if she has read any books at all...ever! Claiming that the first Harry Potter book hadn't yet been written when she was known as the "book banning mayor of Vasila" shows once again how ignorant she really is.
Have you had enough yet? The Palin jokes taken from her own mouth will fill 5 times more volumes than the "Bushisms"...andSarah has lots of miles left to on "run on sentences to nowhere".
Honestly.. They should not have a Mosque at Ground Zero.. I mean come on. COME ON.. This whole political correctness thing has slowly removed all sense of honor, pride and dignity in the US and Europe. I agree, Palin is stupid. But these guys who run this show are just as stupid. Its just propaganda from the other wing.
Why were the Republicans not as incensed about the lack of action for the First Responders BIll in Congress? Where was Mama Grizzly then? Why was she not invoking 9/11 and the sanctity of the site and the people who died there, and the people who suffered trying to retieve remains? Why does she pick and choose her "patriotic" causes? Why was she SO interested in a NYC building, but when it comes to supporting the First Responders, NYC can got to H**L in her book! Be consistent Sarah!!!!
The greatest thing a truly wise person can do to support their wisdom, is to admit when they have innocently and honestly made a mistake. Those who can't even accept a simple error like misspelling or accidentally merging two different words, and instead try to play it off and explain it away, really show their lack of wisdom and display an inner need to deceive, to bend around accountability; in a public figure vying for the largest office in a powerful country, this is a dangerous thing.
@Ghorghinahn I said the exact same thing when that happened... How much better would she had come off if she simply said "Ooop, I meant repudiate, not refudiate.. My bad!". I mean, since she talks like a 14 year old, I'm sure she'd throw in the "my bad". But still, people misspeak all the time, its not a big deal, but she just kept making it worse and worse and the final tweet was the worst of all. What is "wee wee up"? Sounds gross.
Information Revolution, courtesy of the Young Turks. Thank you, Cenk. Never give up, never surrender. Ok, why did I just quote Tim Allen from Galaxy Quest? I didn't mean to.
I have to admit these guys aren't scared to supports whats right, even though they can be funny. I mean these guys need a TV channel or something or like a job in CNN
@Vid3oGaM3R300 Well, I believe Cenk goes on CNN once a week (I very well could be wrong). Watch their video, "Who is Cenk Uygar?" In it it explains the history of the show.
Bravo to The Young Turks for having the brains and guts to 'refudiate' Sarah Palin and conservatives who think she actually knows what she's talking about!!! Talk about English as a second language! Mrs. Palin obviously has her own language, but alas, no brains. Shame on repugnicans for standing behind every piece of CRAP that she spews.
The Democrats and LIBtards would never be livid over the mosque because they totally disavow the existence of a God be it; Yahweh or Allah; unfortunately for them they will lose their head by Allah worshipers... the LIBtards believe George Bush caused 9/11 and not the 19 Arabs involved in crashing 4 planes on that day.
Cordoba Mosque? What is wrong with that? Look up the history of the original Cordoba mosque. Either this guy is retarded or just dishonest. So at least you know what she meant. How bout Obama and his 57 states. Sarah maybe can't spell sometimes and sometimes she actually makes some real gaffs. But at least she didn't say she hates black people the way Obama said he hates white people.
Of course he got just as upset at Gingrichs and Gellars despicable bigotry on the Mosque. Right? I mean, I've seen him on Gingrich.
People who actually care about religious bigotry don't care who the messenger of it is. They care that people of a different religion than most in the US are getting demonized.

STOP HOLDING ANIMOSITY TOWARDS ISLAM. ISLAM DID NOT DROP THE TOWERS, FANATICAL LUNITICS DID. CHRISTIANS CAME TO AMERICA, MURDERED, STOLE, AND STARTED SLAVERY.... DON'T SEE ANYBODY BANNING THE POPE.
Imo, fuck that mosque. It is a total disrespect to all the victims of this act of terrorism.
What really gets me is this phrase. "Muslim Americans" Well if they are American they shouldnt even support it going that close to ground zero. Build it in florida or canada or anywhere else but there. Like shua said it is a VICTORY MOSQUE, NOTHING ELSE. Kinda funny, all of a sudden it sparks up that it has to be built there. . ... Ignorance and disrespect is my view on it.
LOL, yea, a 10 million dollar "information center" I'm sure that's what the permit application says....how about far enough away that the building was not damaged my the landing gear from one of 911 planes, that seems far enough to me
Masterfully ignorant, it is called a victory Mosque, Look it up, Examples: the Fethiye Camii in Turkey, the Ummayad Mosque in Damascus, the Qutub Minar in Afghanistan, the Asqa Mosque in the Hague (formerly a Synagogue), and of course all in Israel: the Al Asqa Mosque/ al-Haram ash-Sharif, the Mosque in Tomb of the Patriarchs, the mosque attached to the Rambam shul (Hurva), to name just a few well known examples(and there are plenty more examples from all around the world).
not a single church is allowed in saudi arabia, iraq, in short, all musalem scum holes kill my christain brothers all over the world. this is reson enough to stop islomic trash from getting a foothold here/ islamic scum don't play well with others.
@brickswilson ... Do you even know how wrong that statement is? (other than your grammar) First of all, there are plenty of christian churches in Turkey, Egypt, Palestina, Saudi arabia,... the list goes on! You don't base this statement on anything. Second, there are religious fundamentalists everywhere. And don't you dare say it's only the islam, you racist asshole. I can't believe how ignorant people can be... And before you think I am a muslim, I'm not. I'm just a dude with an average brain.
@plancknplant To a religion that supports sex with children, killing of non-believers, zero tolerance toward other races and religions, and is responsible for the events on 9/11? NO FUCKING THANKS
@messenger360 the guys who did 9/11 were fundamentalists. Fundamentalism exists in every religion. Note that it's not because fundamentalist christians have killed millions (and they have), that i'm going to disrespect Christianism!...
@messenger360 *shakes head* this just shows how fucking dumb you are. Maybe you should read about Islam before you jump to conclusions. There are lots of twisted fuck heads in the world.. even when it comes to Christians.. jews.. buddhists.. Muslims.. you name it..
sara palin stands for everything I loathe. Her love for hunting and guns, her right wing ideas, her unauthenticity and the emphasis she endulges when belittling the puppet she has for husband.Who does she wants to fool.
I live in New York, was on my way to work the morning of 9/11/01. I work downtown Manhattan in Tribeca with New Yorkers of every race, political stance and religion. A total of NOBODY gives a shit about the "Ground zero mosque". Seriously.
I have no idea how many mosques there are in NYC, I assume there are a lot. Only ignorant, fear-mongering bigots would suggest they shouldn't be able to build a mosque anywhere they want.
@Boobalopbop i think its ok to have a mosque. but um near fucking ground zero. thats a bitch slap to americans. and the familys of those who suffer. i say at least like 4 blocks away is ok.
@smokeymcgreenston Oh OK so thats the issue? 2 blocks is a slap in the face but 4 blocks is just fine? How is that any better or worse? Either we're a free country or we are not.
Its like Jesse Ventura said "We can't subject the Constitution to a popularity poll". One of the side effects of freedom of speech and religion means that religions we don't necessarily like have the same rights as the ones we do like.
@smokeymcgreenston Why? How many blocks is enough? Are you saying ALL Muslims flew those planes? It's around the corner and 2 blocks away. So can we also say that when a Christian extremist blows up an abortion clinic in god's name, no church can be built within 2 blocks?
@theflirt dude im not fucking genralizing. i dont want a place of worship to a religion that was represented by the terrists that crashed the plane. its a bitch slap to us. its saying we can do whatever we want no matter how affencive it is. and rittle me this. why are they so hell bent on puting the mosk there when the state will help them find another place.
@Boobalopbop ther is a Big church at my town and every time a year ther is christian celebration the main Road get closed so people Get in. so let's talk about respect First. i dont see it down ther in the u.s that's for shur .
@Boobalopbop Then you, and if what you say is true (although I highly doubt it) the people of New York, know nothing of Islamic aims and history, because if you did you would know the significance of chosing that site for a mosque, but you don't know what the significance is, you haven't the first clue, which makes you ignorant.
I have no idea why there are people so hung up on the idea of there being a mosque, or Islamic center, 2 blocks away from ground zero?
sure the emotions are still raw etc. But even a person with 3 brain cells can figure out, there is a difference between terrorism, and muslims or Islamic people.
And on top of that, that mosque will do more good, then bad in the grand scheme of things
its that old quotation.
I disagree with what you're saying, but i defend to your death your right to say it
Cenk said "this mosque has nothing to do with 9/11" while this may be technically true, the mosque is now seeking funding from federal 9/11 charity funds.
Republicans who keep defending Palin: why are you doing it? Why don't you turn your energies instead to burying the chances of this losing candidate? When can you admit this woman is a complete and total turkey? When can you be honest enough to see this and admit it?
Is she still around??

Freedom of religion my ass. There has to be a limit. Maybe no religions less than 1000years old. Build mosques synagogue whatever but say no to scientology folks
BizaroMustard100 8 months ago
@BizaroMustard100
Link6746 8 months ago
@BizaroMustard100 And- AND- both are things that have emerged after the last thousand years. This would also of course prevent me from believing in anything unique to myself or discussing those beliefs... which I consider core to my philosophy regarding religion- it is something to be experienced, not shared.

I cant believe that after 2yrs of OBAMA hell, you guys are still critizing the EX "vice presidential" candidate. There is plenty of space in the great wide web to start putting the blame on the one that you actually put in the captains seat...as we are all going down a burning plane.
XaviersChase 9 months ago
@XaviersChase Oh come on, Obama is doing well in general, he's picking up the mess Bush made. You think he should keep up, learn who is president, and without hesitation blame him for everything? Obama is no hero, he's just a man, you can't expect anyone to fix it all when it was that fucked up, but he's doing quite good, and you're just too stubborn to face that.
greenpeacemyass 9 months ago
@greenpeacemyass Did you watch his recent speech on Pakistan? If he is going to succeed his last two years in office he needs to surround himself with some better advisors because he 'royally' screwing with our safety in the Middle East. I haven' read today's news but if I were Isreal, I'd cancel todays meeting with Obama.

@XaviersChase Well, yes, he's conforming to fit the title lol. Compared to other presidents, or politicians per se, generally he's doing well. Compared to what people expected of him, he's shit, but that's just unfair.

English is my second language
incompleteinsanity 9 months ago

What the heck are you talking about. You are not wise enough to be the critic of all conservatives as if they are non-recoverable idiots. You are enjoying your youthfull liberalism but be carefull. You will have to splain this all away when you are a 50 year old conservative. Best of luck to all of you Young Turks as you become better informed and realise you have been led down a very dangerous path.
jimnielsen58 11 months ago
@jimnielsen58 You're saying that people 'smarten up' and become conservatives when they get older, and that all liberals are naive and going down a dangerous path? This is the problem with the 2-party system. It creates black and white ideologies, when reality is never that simple. There are naive liberals and conservatives, there are wise liberals and conservatives. I wish more people would acknowledge these complexities when they make their arguments.

Alright then you go to Saudi Arabia and try and build a huge church in the middle of one of their cities, put a gym in it, and a community centre, I'm sure you wouldn't face any opposition.
mattycbase 11 months ago
@mattycbase But this is not Saudi is it?
onlypolar 11 months ago
@onlypolar Exactly, thats why people use a democratic process to opose things, they are just jealous because they live in a dusty shithole so they start getting violent, if they want to have a who is best at killing people competition we would win, so lets fuckin go right now.
mattycbase 11 months ago
@mattycbase But that's what's supposed to make life for the average person better in America than in Saudi Arabia -- America is supposed to be tolerant of other religions, opinions, etc., as long as they do not harm others. When I hear opposition to this mosque, I worry about the inability of some groups to distinguish between violent terrorists and regular, peaceful, Muslim Americans which have absolutely nothing to do with terrorism.
SeanHG33 10 months ago
@SeanHG33 I don't differentiate, out of respect they should never have even considered this action. When that guy burned the Qu'uran Muslims around the world killed people, when Salman Rushdie wrote The Satanic verses many people involved with the book were killed, when people drew Muhammad many people were killed, when Bin Laden flew plains into the twin towers no muslim gave 2 fucks. Also I don't agree there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim, I mean why not just call it a half assed muslim?
mattycbase 10 months ago
@mattycbase Yes, those are the radical, violent Muslim groups. There are also radical, violent Christian groups. But do the violent Christians represent all Christians? Of course not. Just as there are millions of peaceful Christians, there are millions of peaceful Muslims living in America, and they have nothing to do with the violent ones. Judge people by how THEY act, not by how the worst in their society act.
SeanHG33 10 months ago
@SeanHG33 You obviously haven't understood, the non violent Muslims never said anything about 9/11 or the murder of those people due to the burning of the Qu'uran, hardly any Muslim gave condemnation, whereas every single one of them was up in arms about people drawing Muhammad and such, therefore I believe that they support the actions of terrorists, and I am right to, for as it is written in the Qu'uran "Kill the infidel wherever you can find him and however you can." That is their religion.
mattycbase 10 months ago
@mattycbase The vast majority took *non-violent* offence to the cartoons. You don't hear non-violent Muslims speaking out against 9/11 in the media because the media doesn't focus on them. Why would the millions of Muslims trying to live peacefully in the US be happy about the 9/11 attacks, which fuelled hatred towards their entire culture and just makes their lives harder?
SeanHG33 10 months ago
@SeanHG33 You can't blame the media either, because there is an internet, they support the attacks, you may not like it, but it is like that actually, I grew up in a muslim area, and we are cool I have friends who are muslim, but I also know them, and the fact is if they could force their religion on us ie if they had the power we have and roles were reversed they would, I also know that whilst we are cool, if the lines were drawn tomorrow theyd be on the opposite side.
mattycbase 10 months ago
@mattycbase So you think you have gathered enough accurate information to say that most of the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world support the attacks. My point was that it's always far more complicated than these blanket statements, and the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world are just as diverse in opinion as the rest of the 5, 6 billion people on the planet. I'd be happy to settle with this -- that neither of us really knows enough about the 1-2 billion Muslims in the world to make any assertions.
SeanHG33 10 months ago
@SeanHG33 Can't disagree with you there, but I do know there are far more protests and condemnation by the 1-2 billion muslims in the world of wars and people drawing Muhammad and people burning books, than there are protests and condemnation of the actions of Alqaeda and other extremist groups, if you really want to see an excellent example of this point being made search for the video No Muslim outrage, I think that guy points out the situation perfectly....
mattycbase 10 months ago
@SeanHG33 also forgetting the innocent Muslims, take note of all the things the muslim extremists are doing around the world, funny how it is muslims in particular that are doing these things. I don't differentiate between them, you know one of the biggest mosqies in my country attended by thousands of people in London was a centre for Abu Hamza who preached hate, and not one bit of condemnation by the whole fuckin lot of the so called innocents who listened to him.
mattycbase 10 months ago
@mattycbase Yes, some verses in the Qu'uran are terrible, same with the Bible. Do all Christians want to kill anyone that works on Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-36)? Of course not, because most Christians are regular, sensible people, just as most Muslims are. Do the radical Christians in the world have anything to do with the regular, average Christian? No. So why do all Muslims get lumped into one group? We should be allying with peaceful Muslims to condemn the violent ones.
SeanHG33 10 months ago

BeingNobody1956 10 months ago
@zerogullibility I'd hate to come across as belligerent but Bush attended Yale and then later received his MBA from Harvard. And based off of how active you on YouTube I'd imagine you haven't attended an institution of similar merit. So what gives you the ability to judge him as a retard when you haven't accomplished the same yourself? I'm not sure as to how a retard could attain said positions or survive the toughest academic institutions in the world.
Breenguy 8 months ago
@Breenguy And Bush is STILL retarded. So is Palin.
You won't "argue away" the ignorance and the repulsive narcissism.
You can't build an atom bomb with gun powder. Bush and Palin are less than gun powder stock. They come from pure backwoods, cow paddy infested dirt. An idiot is an idiot is an idiot.
schlummieleinchen 8 months ago
@schlummieleinchen I'm not sure how I'm arguing away any of his qualities. I was just listing his merits and how you most likely have not even come close to accomplishing anything in line with what he has. And I'm almost certain Bush grew up on a richer estate than you did so if that's 'pure backwoods' the term no longer holds meaning. On what basis are you certain he is retarded? I'm not here to argue but don't apply labels to people you've obviously misjudged.
Breenguy 8 months ago
@Breenguy dude the man was a retard plain and simple.. kinda of charming, in that good ole boy way, but still very mentally challenged.. as for yale and harvard, maybe they have a special ed kind of program for rich kids whose parents have political aspirations..
brigantty 7 months ago
@Breenguy George W Bush has never let his grades become public record for a reason, the only reason he managed to get an MBA is his father was head of the C.I.A. at the time. He is the worst President in the history of the U.S. and his policies and wars have resulted in around 8 trillion in debt. He may not technically be retarded but he plays the part very well.(he plays a retard better than Hoffman in Rainman.)
palinsux1 7 months ago 8
@zerogullibility Enough of the calling Bush a retard, please. You may not have agreed with is policies, but you're not anywhere near as smart as him, I'm sorry you're really not. I know comedians made Bush jokes into the jokes that stupid people laugh at, but that doesn't mean you need to continue spreading them. Did you go to Yale and Harvard? No, I doubt it. You just think you're incredibly clever and it helps your ego to assume you're smarter than a president. Lol to you, sir.
Vyna80 4 months ago
@Vyna80 Do they offer ENGLISH at your home school? You write like a 4th grade drop-out, yet dare to discuss George W. Bush's (elusive) intellect. If you want the subject of "retardation" dropped, stop drawing attention to it, and to the fact that the far right clearly favors ignorance over genius.
mdmusil 4 months ago
@mdmusil You're a pretty funny guy, you can't come up with a real argument so you go on the offensive. I'm really not concerned with what the far right does, I'm not with them and neither is George Bush or any president, for that matter. You may not have figured this out, but the ENTIRE country needs to elect someone to be president, so they have to be pretty mainstream. But I'm really curious, in what way do I write like a "4th grade drop-out"? Do they have those where you live?
Vyna80 4 months ago
@Vyna80 lol bush wasn't what you would call clever, but puppets don't need to be :), as for the election of the inbred one, the election was so rigged it was a joke, the supreme court elected him. i would like to reply to your comment about attending harvard or yale and add that one doesn't have to of attended one of them schools to be intelligent, its like oxford of cambridge here, most are just wealthy not clever.

@plancknplant To a religion that supports sex with children, killing of non-believers, zero tolerance toward other races and religions, and is responsible for the events on 9/11? NO FUCKING THANKS
messenger360 1 year ago
@messenger360 the guys who did 9/11 were fundamentalists. Fundamentalism exists in every religion. Note that it's not because fundamentalist christians have killed millions (and they have), that i'm going to disrespect Christianism!...
plancknplant 1 year ago
@plancknplant I don't care how you twist it. Islam is out dated and senseless and should be abolished.
messenger360 1 year ago
@messenger360 the religion doesn't support any of that. Only the fundamentalists do. And fundamentalists exist within every religion.
plancknplant 1 year ago
@messenger360 *shakes head* this just shows how fucking dumb you are. Maybe you should read about Islam before you jump to conclusions. There are lots of twisted fuck heads in the world.. even when it comes to Christians.. jews.. buddhists.. Muslims.. you name it..

sara palin stands for everything I loathe. Her love for hunting and guns, her right wing ideas, her unauthenticity and the emphasis she endulges when belittling the puppet she has for husband.Who does she wants to fool.

To all the idiots who respond: "Yeah? Go build a church in Mecca!" then I say "Yeah? Go build a mosque in the Vatican, bitch."

Boobalopbop 1 year ago 52
@Boobalopbop i think its ok to have a mosque. but um near fucking ground zero. thats a bitch slap to americans. and the familys of those who suffer. i say at least like 4 blocks away is ok.
smokeymcgreenston 1 year ago
@smokeymcgreenston Oh OK so thats the issue? 2 blocks is a slap in the face but 4 blocks is just fine? How is that any better or worse? Either we're a free country or we are not.
Its like Jesse Ventura said "We can't subject the Constitution to a popularity poll". One of the side effects of freedom of speech and religion means that religions we don't necessarily like have the same rights as the ones we do like.
Boobalopbop 1 year ago
@Boobalopbop yes the issue is not that its being built. its how close it is. 2 blocks is way to close
smokeymcgreenston 1 year ago
@smokeymcgreenston Why? How many blocks is enough? Are you saying ALL Muslims flew those planes? It's around the corner and 2 blocks away. So can we also say that when a Christian extremist blows up an abortion clinic in god's name, no church can be built within 2 blocks?
theflirt 1 year ago
@theflirt dude im not fucking genralizing. i dont want a place of worship to a religion that was represented by the terrists that crashed the plane. its a bitch slap to us. its saying we can do whatever we want no matter how affencive it is. and rittle me this. why are they so hell bent on puting the mosk there when the state will help them find another place.

@Boobalopbop ther is a Big church at my town and every time a year ther is christian celebration the main Road get closed so people Get in. so let's talk about respect First. i dont see it down ther in the u.s that's for shur .
baddyr 1 year ago
