  • una pregunta porque visten trajes de karate si es kung fu

  • I´m sorry, but it looks kind of sloppy, and you´re moving way too fast. The goal is to develop forearm sensitivity, not arm wrestling. Very very basic moves...And whats the deal with the gi´s and belts? There is no gi, no belt ranking system in traditional wing chun.

  • @Moodo1 very well said. I was going to point out the same things.

  • search Sifu Chris Thompson demonstating and explaining Single Chi Sau or Dan Chi Sau

  • Thanks

  • Serrano, Good Job!! This is Sifu Ching Loong (Randy Sanches)...The boys are looking good...Keep up the practice and remember stay grounded. Aloha From Hawaii.

  • Sifu, how are you doing? Send my regards to all my brothers and cousins in Hawaii. Hope to see you soon.

  • Try moving closer during single sticking hands, where u truly are in striking range, it gets more difficult as position and reaction will be crucial or else you get hit.

  • good stuff , thanks

  • Why Chi Sau so fast?

  • I would like to learn it, heh heh.

Well, at least some knowledge of self defense.

    Is it hard?

    Does it test one's patience??

Cause getting into a fight is the last thing I wanna do.

  • Once you continue to practice, you will find it very interesting. It does helps you to develop patience, which is a characteristic of a martial artist that is profound in knowledge and has the ability to defend him/herself; however in order to fight, will do it only for self defense.

  • So um, Chi Sao... Is like a sparing, or like testing another persons reactions toward your actions?

And you can't really Chi Sao with other people that don't know Wing Chun right?

They'd be like wth are we doing??

  • Why diss this sifu? if you have any experience you should be able to see from his body language, gate and structure that he has trained hard and has good skills. His teaching method is also good because he encourages the students, praises them when they do well and informs them when not doing so well. I think the young man doing eyes closed lap sau may have been his son. He looks like he has learned well to me. Lets all stay humble and promote WC to the best of our abilities. Humbly yours j98

  • Thank you, my friend. Take care and God bless you.

  • Fake Wing Tsun teaching. A real Wing Tsun practician can really laugh at this.

  • Are you one? Please show me.

  • Yeah, just search YT for videos by GM Leung Ting and other senior instructors of my organisation (IWTA) like Sifu Emin Boztepe.

  • dont worry sifu.we have seen too many computer fighters.congratulation for your video.also for your sons.

  • Thanks, take care. Would like to visit Greece one day.

  • I wouldn't call his Wing Tsun fake - he knows at least some moves. But I can spot at least 2 mistakes he makes in his Chi Sau in this video alone. I think the question is not so much whether his WT is fake but whether he's really qualified to be teaching the art. If he's only showing some kids a few WT moves or principles, I don't see any harm in that. But if he opens a school and calls himself a WT sifu, that is a different story.

  • By the way you are talking, you must be at least 14 years old. Please keep practicing. By the way, I have friends in Hong Kong. I hope that one day you receive good training from them, that is, if you become humble :)). May God bless you.

  • Talking smart? Why don't YOU be humble and get some serious WT training, in Hong Kong perhaps. BTW, I've been teaching the art for over 30 years and my sigung is Leung Sheung, one of Ip Man's early students. But I doubt if you've ever heard of him because you learned from 4th-5th generation guys in the US for only a few years.

  • Take care, my friend and God bless you. I did not know that you were older, but now that you mentioned it, I know. To me, you were the one sounding smart (see your previous comment). Please receive the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart. Maybe one day I will have the honor to chisau with you. FYI, I am a 3rd generation Wing Chun guy. Your Sigung is a great Master, I respect him.

  • I can see you're a decent guy trying to teach the art of WC and I appreciate that. But what bothers me is that there're quite a number of unqualified non-Chinese instructors outside HK who learnt the art for a few years and call themselves sifu. Have you seen some of the crap chi sau videos on YT? They're usually from places like the US, UK, etc.

  • The problem is when students do not submit to their teachers. They practice for just a few years and then they believe to be masters when they still have a lot to learn. Once they believe that they know everything, they abandon their roots and disrespect their teachers, their teachers, however have not taught them everything yet, because they were testing their faithfulness(of the student). That's why you see what you see my friend.

  • That was amazing. Was that Josh Serrano? Omg, that was one of my best friends from middle school 0_O
