  • THE WHOLE WORLD SHOULD SAY A BIG THANKYOU TO AUSTRALIA FOR GIVING THEM ADAM HILLS

  • well come on that is clearly the swedish national anthem :P

  • He is not good to talk like a Swed who talking English.... :P

  • i love him so much ........adam hills is the best :)

  • It achually happend to me when it was the muppet show on tv and i hadnt seen it before. I am from sweden. When they said that it was time for the swedish chef, I was like what! I really thought i was going to understand it and for the firt minute i thought i did, but then I became a little embarresed...But we achually have a word that is almost the same as hurdy gurdy...

  • WOOOHOOOO!!!

  • His swedish accent really sound like when a sweed is trying to talk english! :)

  • @earagnarsson Then you havent heard many swedish speak swedish...It is just older people who have that bad accent!

  • @Epsylonify I think you meant swedish people talking english. Because if you actually meant swedes talking swedish and I that haven't heard many swedes talking swedish then that would have been really funny since I'm swedish.

  • this place is fooking shite

  • ...what the hurdy gurdy is he saying?

  • 2:00 to 2:20 is the best part

  • @randominthewindow - he was actually saying "oh yeah, fuckin' yeah, oh fuckin' sausages!" - aussies tend to drop 'fuckin' into everything we say.

  • Hans, Lars, come quickly! The funny man will be talking Swedish... What the hurdy gurdy is he saying?!?

What an amazingly funny guy, I have watched this video over & over and it still cracks me up xD - brilliant!

  • When he was saying about the Aussie Muppet Chef, I actually got a sentence from his mumble. "Oh yerrr, mate, makin' ... sausages." I love Australia.

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA I CANT STOP LAUGHING SOMEONE HELP ME OH MY SWEET LORD, FRENCH NOISES!?!? HAHAHAHAHHAHAH OMFG ADAM STOP IT

  • ..............sausages.

  • Heh, he's a funny comedian. Does any1 knows any good oussie comedians?

    I like the accent :)

  • @Figunaye Some other good Aussie comedians are Jim Jeffries and Carl Barron. Dave Hughes is OK as well... Definitely Tony Martin and Mick Molloy ("The Tonight Show", a classic). Have fun =)

  • @Figunaye

Wil Anderson is a good one :)

  • haha I'm an American and he can do that southern "woo hoo" better than I can. just about layed an egg the first time I heard that.

  • Gan dadadadan burger gadadadada fries gadadadada waaaaaahoooooooooo!!!!

My favorite part this is why I love Americans :)

  • legend

  • Well it is a bit shit.. but I think if we go around the corner it might be nice!

    XD

  • every time i watch this video and he says "fockin'", he reminds me of ed byrne. can't help it.

  • bow dow ba dow WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! 100% northern redneck pride right here baby.

  • @creamyfilling102 How can there be northern rednecks? Strange.. And a black guy the other day called himself a "Hillblackanese"

  • what he said about the swedish chef is so true, when i first heard him speak i thought "what the hell is he saying?!" (and after that i laughed) :)

  • I don't understand at all, why people need to comment on comedy clips with the funniest line, in the EXACT words the comedian uses. We're about to hear it, it's not your material, so why bother?

  • Intelligensbefriad, du är helt jävla underbar!

  • I will see him tomorrow in Montreal for 15$ at Just for Laugh, never herd of him but I already can tell it will be a nicely invested 15$... Ca va etre drole. hon hon hon

  • @cosmicfrank what did you think of him? he's one of my favourites.

  • WEEEHHHEEEW!!!!

  • Adam's interpretation of the Swedish national anthem ^^

  • Fraussie :)

  • he is like the guy in school who tried too hard to hard to be funny. very unfunny,

  • what a shit comedian.

  • dedecedeo WOOOOOHOOOO

  • When he said "burger" I literaly pissed my pants that's how hard I was laughing.

  • oh wow his whole gimmick is trying to make fun of accents!

  • He's funny, but why does he and everyone else have to make all Americans sound like Southerners? I wouldn't make all English people sound like Liverpudlians (yes, thank you, I know he's not English, but I couldn't think of any Australian examples).

  • @yurismir1 You only have 2 choices, a southern or a New York accent. The rest we simply can't do. The rest either don't have enough discernable qualities or we simply don't know. So why the Southern one then, that's simple: George W. Bush. Yeah still, I know. Live with it, You guys voted for him.

  • @Sander198422 I wasn't old enough to vote. And many did NOT vote for him actually.

  • @yurismir1

I think it's coz the Southern American accent is the easiest to imitate and the easiest to distinguish as being American

  • @yurismir1 well that's what the whole point of his routine is isn't it? How some cultures perceive other's languages. So that's just another example.

  • @yurismir1 Because the southern american accent is easier to do.. That's the only "American" accent i can do..

  • Why is it that every one in the wolrd think that if you are from sweden is called Hans or Lars?

-And from germany i called Fritz and Heinz ?

    - that's so wird!!!

  • American girl is very happy now :D

  • AHH SE IMPOSSIBLE!

  • que'est c'est merde le beurre? where is the shit butter?

  • the english woman's laughing "ja ja" sounded a bit swedish

  • try to talk in lithuanian... lol... I would laugh

  • dam he left out the best part of that joke. right after "what the hurdy gurdy is he saying?" he goes to say how in sweden the call him the norwegian chef, so that means that swedish people go to norway and are all like "hurdy gurdy hurdy gurdy!" and the norwegians are all like "oh my god they actually talk like that", still really funny but i thought that part was the best of the whole joke

  • @youbetzler

No, we call him the danish chef.

  • "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

  • @clockworkhearts I think he meant to say "je ne sais quoi menage a trois", which anyone with a minimal grasp of Fraussie will tell you means "I don't know what the threesome"

I like your version better though!

  • @allicatviii "menage à trois" doesn't mean threesome in french. It's often used that way in english, having a only sexual meaning, but in french it means three people (usually living together) in love with eachother.Just like a traditional couple but with three people.

That's not a threesome, that doesnt mean the three people have sex with eachother at the same time.It can be a man living with two women both in love with him for exemple.

  • @JoeDurobot Thanks for the education, I wasn't aware of that. I learned something today :)

  • when he was impersonating a french person, he said "je ne suis qua menage"

which loosely translated means "i am not the housework"

  • @clockworkhearts Actually, I believe he said, "Je ne sais quoi. Ménage à trois," which means "I don't know what. Threesome." Although, English speakers use "Je ne sais quoi" to mean something like "a mysterious allure."

  • @Riflemanm16a2

my bad, im not very good at translating spoken french, written is much easier :3

  • I wish we were colonised by the French. At least we would have been colonised by a decent culture.

  • When speaking "french" he sounds like Watto from Star Wars, LMAO.

  • Omg xD I'm swedish and I can't belive that people think that we really speak like that xD And I must say that the swedish chef have maybe 1 word right out of them all xD

  • @Myfuckinggraveyard Mate...I'm swedish aswell, but when i speak english i sound american. The majority of swedes and those of my own generation, sound like gay germans when they speak english... he's doing an accurate impression of swedes..

  • @PubliusTarvos I didn't mean his impression of us speaking english, but the fact that people think that we speak as the swedish chef. And I agree that swedish people think they're better at speaking english than they really are. And thanks for the not needed information about your own english skills :)

  • @Myfuckinggraveyard Hah! got owned right there! :P Cheers, mate ^^ I still think we sound like the swedish chef..well atleast the majority of us :P "jees...vee are ...vary....guud...at....spaking....english..." is pretty much what i heard from my english teacher here in sweden and i just went "You know what...i'm not coming to school if this person who's supposed to teach me english, can barely speak it"

  • @PubliusTarvos Well, Though most of what the swedish chef says if just random sounds xD I agree on that really, our english teachers suck, or well, most of them. Why I'm now at collage studing english so I might be able to teach sweds in the future to speak properly :) And really we do have such a small amount of practice with speaking english so I can't blame most of the students as it's a pain when you get no help from the school system in that matter =/

  • @Myfuckinggraveyard haha yeah! :P i got fed up with our school system.. i mean if you are able to perform better than the person teaching you something, there's really no need for taking those classes. Yeah and most swedes don't really want to interact with english speaking people either.. really odd :P but the minority of us who do, get a better experience from it :D

  • So bloody funny!!!!!!!!!

  • oh say en po ce blear !!!!

  • im Swedish and I love this :)

  • Comment removed

  • At least he makes french noises when he's pretending to be french cause when my brother pretends to be speaking french he makes Chinese noises

  • I think I love you xDD

  • do comedians use their jokes 3 times in a row?

  • XD

  • very well done on the Swedish accent

  • "badawnkadawnk YEEEEEEEEEEEHEW!!!!" xD

  • I love his Fraussie!! lol :)

  • @cloko74 He's a comedian. Nothing is off limits for jokes, especially when they apply to the one telling the jokes. Can't deal with that? Easily offended? Stay away from comedy. Far, far away.

  • @cloko74 In fairness, he didn't talk about it for about the first 5 or 6 years of his comedy career so he wouldn't be known as the one legged comedian, and also, if anyone in this world just "gets on with life" and doesn't feel sorry for himself, it's Adam Hills...

  • Have just uploaded a classic AUSTRALIA TRIBUTE involving Michael Jackson.....Cheers AUSSIE fellas and sheilas

  • that was hilarious, love adam hills!! though apparently in sweden, on the muppet show the swedish chef was called the norwegian chef =)

  • DIS PLAEC EES FOOKIN' SHITE !

  • All this reminds me of Sid Caesar! For those who don't know him, he would fake talk languages he doesn't speak, quite a bit like Adam does here. He did this back in the 50s on early TV, and you can find him doing his languages routine on YouTube on an clip from Whose Line Is It Anyway?

  • focking shait! XD

  • The Sweedish Chef is hilarious anywhere!

I'm from Norway and we fucking dig him, cause it's hilarious that English speaking people think Sweden (and a lot think just all Scandinavian countries) sound like that. xD

  • Well I do eat more croisants than the average french person... Damnit now I want a croisant.

  • His accents are bloody brilliant!!

  • Adam Hills is one of the only comedians I've seen who can manage to place 'menage a trois' in a gag and make it sound funny.... Paul McDermott is the other. XD

  • I FELL OFF MY CHAIR AT THE LAST BIT!!! GENIUS!!

  • I wonder what life would be like if the french did found us... well for one thing I don't think we would be called Australia

  • Oh my gosh, that last bit... genius.

  • And the thing is - We think the Swedish chef is f**ing hilarious!

(Yes, I'm from Sweden. No, "humdiburdi" is not a word here. Neither is "bork" but "burk" means can.)
