@rxiongstie A good quality pepper mill will have a top that unscrews so you can add more pepper. Cheapies at the markets are made to toss at out. Hope this helps!
I was wondering, is there a difference between a pepper mill and a salt mill?
I thought of buying a pepper mill to use with rock salt but later I read in a magazine that it was not recommended to do so because the salt is harder than the pepper and the mill can wear out really fast. So I began looking for a salt mill but cannot find any of the like.
I bought our salt grinder from Costco. It actually comes packaged this way. Amazon sells several types of salt grinders, but I wouldn't use rock salt. Usually sea salt is a popular choice. Hope this helps! Jason
omg ur missing the other three corns,, white, green, red, and then black... i have it downstairs and i hate regular pepper... my god fresh cracked pepper is the way to go, ive never looked back !!!
For a minute there, I was thinking about mortar, the light artillery weapon (mortar being my specialty in the army, and English being a non-native language for me) so I thought "that commenter sure has a bizarre sense of humour". :-D
Ooooh! Do you smell that? It smells like pepper up in here. Straight up. How do you not smell that pepper?!? It smells like somebody put a big 'ol pile of pepper in the middle of the room then sprayed that mess with hairspray and lit that junk on fire. It smells like a pepper inferno up in this piece, y'all!
nice

@applevargas88 I got it online years ago from a Cooking Supply site. Just search for electric pepper mill and you should find something nice. Cheers!

as do I. I purchased one, and it has been one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. I feel like I am back in the apothecary days.
