The same thing happened to me man.

Try holding down the eject butten for a couple of seconds, it will force eject the disc.

I had the same problem and thought about sending my PS3 back to sony.

The after a few force ejects, the problem kinda fixed itself :S

You can still take out the game disc out of the PS3, Put the ps3 upside down and press eject. that always works for my ps3
