  • @goamericathebest Dude if you don't like it don't watch this is a video to be instructions to fight, why dont u go play with ur barbies you bitch

  • When you go under can you use the momentum of the duck and side movement tto really drive the body or into an uppercut?

  • what is the song at the beginning of the video?

  • Well done series brother.

  • I got those same shoes lol

  • so after reviewing all your vids; i hate your voice; i think you look like a girl; and im 200% i could knock your ass out. where do you live?

  • @lexusowner that is how people that don't have a round of fight in their life talk....

  • @armour2king i boxed for 6 years (age 13-19) ; joined the army. served in iraq (may 17th 2004- june 2005) with 2-1cav (my mos 19d30) - after serving my country; i then took tai chi and jujitsu for 3 years (ages 21-24) - and currently work as a physical trainer at gold's gym in keizer oregon.

  • @lexusowner hes trying to help kids defend themselves on the streets, wtf does it matter what he looks like or whether or not you could knock him out? if you have indeed done all the things that you say you have then why are you so insecure?

  • @bigmanoooo1 im not insecure about any actions im fully aware of that i can do. i have no means to kick this (the self taught "instructor" who made his video) idiots ass; im purely pointing out the fact of whats fact and whats not. if you want some help defending yourself; do not watch videos on youtube and think that they will help you in a self defense situation; thats about as dumb as thinking you winning the lottery from a cracker jack box.

  • @lexusowner true videos cant teach you how to defend yourself alone but they can point you in the right direction, i have learned some useful tips from videos on youtube, but they can only be a brief guide i agree, you have to practice as well

  • @lexusowner hater

  • how bout wall sits? they good?

  • the guy was standing there pointlessly u couldov just callen him when u needed him! haha

  • best series on street fighting so far. good philosophy behind it.

  • Good vid bud thanks for not giving us a load of bs on knife fighting and being honest, so many people on youtube make these videos with no experience or real training just to look tuff.

  • Nice

  • WHY IS THE OTHER GUY STANDING THERE? AND YOU COULD STAND IN THE CENTER. POORLY SHOT VIDEO. TALKING ABOUT EXERCISES FOR LEGS IS UNNECESSARY.

  • @goamericathebest are you training to be the worlds best douchebag?

  • @goamericathebest WHY ARE YOU TYPING IN ALL CAPS, IT ISN'T GOING TO MAKE YOUR COMMENT ANYMORE IMPORTANT OR SIGNIFICANT, lol 1. no one cares, just skip ahead if it annoys you. 2. google caps lock, it will teach you how to be less of a douche.

  • very good.

  • In a street fight, try to use your foot work to move to the flank & then the rear of the threat whenever possible. Use checking with your movement to keep the threat from keeping up with your movement. For example, If u move to the right side of a threat & grab his shirt by his right shoulder with your right arm, u keep him from turning towards u while u are still free to turn towards him & deliver a big shot. Even if he ducks/blocks the shot u step in behind him & throw a full-back suplay, OUT.

  • Hey I get bullyed at school and tired of it in a video in the past u said something about tips and a Ti land fight my email is donaldgreg83@yahoo.com I would really like those tips I just found you guys on youtube

  • Krav is definitely a practical look at knife defense WITH RESPECT for what you initially said about getting the hell out if you possibly can. Krav will not teach you how to dominate the hell out of a knife attacker, but it will teach you probably the best system for Not Dieing if that situation arises - and that's all it should be about the second one-hit weapons come out.

  • come to ufc

  • Me too i like what you are doing, you dont fill people's brain with fancy stuff ; and i know what i am saying as i "come" from "internal" martial arts...

  • Such a bass ass dude, you should pursue the subject of fighting taller people and explore it more cos i know there's a lot more to it. By the way make a new fighttips comedy episode!! that stuff's funny!

  • @2.10 epic yawn

  • Great video! I've been working on this in my training and this video is very helpful.

  • you and your brother should have a UFC match it would be a good fight i think :)!

  • @jason08l4u2 U mean mma not UFC

  • Why are all these videos tailored to "street-fights"? I see that combat sports can be used for self defense, but no matter how much you train you can never be prepared for an assault. If you get to overconfident your reaction might be to fight when talking or running might be the smarter thing to do.

  • bus1

  • thnx man

  • just watched ur video on confidence and skimmed through this one (have to go sumwere im running late, so ill watch it again) and i just subscribed to u. i appreciate wat ur doin and hope u keep training and become even more skilled at martial arts

  • @antonyneal y u talking to urself?

  • 3:02 shin muscles=tibialis anterior

    tibialis-tibia=shin

    anterior= front

    keep up the great videos

  • Do you ever get frustrated by being a bit on the smaller side? I have a friend that is short has a lot of muscle is very strong is a good boxer but only weigh's about 140 lbs. And he looses a lot of weight as soon as he starts training cardio. I have the opposite problem 6'1 250 pounds with a big frame but should be walking around at more like 200 pounds, carrying that much weight absolutely destroys my stamina. A video which focuses on the aspects of body type in fighting would be interesting.

  • @antonyneal

I just watched your videos on fighting larger and taller opponents. I am usually on opposite end with more weight and longer reach, fighting smaller faster opponents that are more explosive with much better stamina. I fucking hate it when my opponents come in real close and work my body. If you could make a video from the perspective a larger fighter who is fighting a athlete that would be good. Even just make a list of things you hate larger opponents doing.

  • @antonyneal

Stay up and above the fight, overlooking it.

Keep him at a little distance, use your reach.

If he gets close, clinch and lean down on him, make him carry you, this will tire him the fuck out,

but be careful he doesnt take you down, big guys fall hard.

  • @antonyneal if you learned a few wing chun moves, or even changed your stance up, just learn from other martial arts too, just not from here even tho this guy is great, im usually just on the stronger but a little shorter end so i usually work the inside, the key to is to know that blocking close dosent work so grapple and get to ground as soon as they come in

  • @antonyneal learn to use your body to your advantage when fighting a smaller opponent like elbowing or pushing to keep them away from your body

  • @antonyneal its called the bear hug lol

  • @antonyneal

hey! I'm not exactly an expert, but I am a taller figher who works with a lot of shorter guys.

what works for me if i'm fighting a guy who is about my skill level but smaller and lighter is using my long jab to set up combinations and really put the pressure on. I really try to keep them at the end of my arms, and once I stun them with a good jab i instantaneously move in with my two and my hooks.

For people who are better than me, I actually do a lot of counterfighting.

  • @antonyneal

    (cont)

I also try to be very tricky. I'll move my hands a lot, keep them at bay, and then hit them with a jab from a long range. Then I'll start using my movement to frustrate them into chasing me and pepper them with long shots until they get worn out.

Of course, this is if things go perfectly to plan. If they're better than me, they can sometimes cut me off and work in my range.

  • @antonyneal lol im the more smaller type (though i wouldnt say im explosive or have high stamina yet :P) i should watch tat vidoe

  • @antonyneal yeea me to im 5.9 135lbs and its hard to fight against shorter opponets

  • Thanks for sharing your knowledge dude!!!!!

I've been letting my knees go past my toes like a dumbass!

  • Can you do counters for grappleing? In most street fights you usually end on the ground. so if they grab you and spin you or grab your legs and ground you what do you do? i know you explained some parts of ground game but in a street fight its really hard to stay on your feet. if you could make a instructional on this i would be geatful :D

  • @DarkvTOxiC Just sprawl, sprawl as hard as you can hahaha. If you still end up on the ground then fck...you'll need to watch more vid tips for that, hahaha.

  • yooo i fuckn love this guy thanks cant wait till it gets bangin tomorrw.

  • cool

  • Thank you!!!!!

  • À lot of info, good job, keep jt up!!

  • sexy shitt lol

  • Right on guys ,great advice very good.

I'm mean as a bear but I'd rather run and look for the honey's.

  • I have a question. What it the person you are fighting is much taller than you? How can you win? Can you make a video explaining this?

  • @umargoogle There already is a video dealing with that topic

  • @lastgenerationsb ohhhh lol, i didnt know. ill go find that video

  • @umargoogle either why watch the vid but if anything go for the legs

  • @umargoogle If you are unexperienced it will be quite a bit more difficult. I wouldn't go down the route of kicking their legs if you don't have any muay thai(or similar) training as you are likely just to get punched in the face while barely damaging their legs. If you are quick on your feet, step in while punching, then push back off your front foot to go back out of range.

  • @Darylw27 thanks

  • Learned a lot from your videos so far , thanks, keep'em coming!

  • nice

  • hey i like that your helping your viewers out but personally i think you should do videos on the competitive genres, i think you're a great help but some people can use this information in a bad light instead of its intended purpose which is self defense

  • Nice video..great explanation

  • in my opinion there isnt much of footwork in street fights :)

  • @Brugar18 Footwork is everything in a fight.. the punch power comes from your footwork and from your hips.Is good to close in to go away from danger.Footwork is realy important in every type of a fight.

  • @MrUltimateSurvival well you see in most street fights even guys who never learned any hand to hand combat sports can be good in it so they would deffinetly not know proper footwork exept never giving time to opponent to rest keep on punching and just stay close with him till he is knocked out. so most footwork in steet fight is just based on having a close contact with opponent

  • @Brugar18 it is important, good footwork means you got good balance. If you have bad footwork and a bad stance, you get knocked off your feet even if it isn't really a power punch.

  • @h4z well like i said in street fights you dont need to have stance or do much of the footwork just stay on your feet. besides stance gives away that you will fight
